How quickly so many of you give up on this team. We're 0-2 not 0-7 or 0-10. The Eagles were 0-2 last year, they made it to the NFC championship. I know this team is nothing like the Eagles were last year, so no one needs to point that out. Two things have been shown to me in these first two games, one the offense needs a lot of work. The o-line cant stop a high school d-line from applying pressure, Lamar Gordan is not running hard, and Feeley looks confused and tried to force to much. Second our defense is unbelieveable. 10 pts. allowed against Tennessee and 9 pts. versus Cincy. WOW. Thats with no Tim Bowens in both games, No Surtain, Reggie Howard, or Larry Chester in the other. All of these guys (minus Chester) is back against the Steelers. The offense will be a work in progress all season. With Damion McIntosh likely coming back this week this line will only get better. Will they be perfect, no, but I think that a win is likely if we can block better against the steelers blitzing. Gordon must run harder and feeley needs to be named the starter no matter what. Feeley is still feeling out the offense and it is hard to do that if he has no time. hopely with mcintosh coming back will help that.

I like the enthusiasim but dude you got to wake up and smell the blitzing. If we couldn't block the Bengals blitz...I repeat....the BENGALS BLITZ, what makes you think we will do better against a 3-4 blitzing team like the Steelers?

It isn't the record, it is how you play to get there. Our offence, specially the line, did not show much to inspire confidence!

Watch the games. Use commen sense. We aren't the Eagles of last year. This team has no talent on offense. The talent on defense is old which means it will only break down (as it always does) as the year goes on.

We suck.

Our offensive line is absolutely horrible. I try and be optimistic: great defense, good wide outs, playmaking TE. But then I think about that line and have nightmares. I can't blame Feeley and I still don't know if he is any good b/c Dan Marino, Michael Vick, nor Joe Montana could have played well with that sorry protection. Wade Smith couldn't stop a sweet old lady on a motorized cart.

Those that are quick to surrender after the crushing blow of 2 defeats had most likely already given up before the season even started.

There really is no way to convince people to believe. You either do or you don't. Those who don't believe this team can win have to protect themselves from failure by embracing it. Those who do believe that this team still has a fighting chance risk failure...but never embrace it.

I hate failure. But, I hate the idea of quitting even more. I can't let myself be a quitter...even if this team falls way short of it's goal.

We don't have eagle talent, that's the difference. McNabb played bad early, and bounced bad. Unless 8 members of the offence can find some talent, this ship is sunk.

McNabb played real bad early. In fact, Eagles fans were calling for AJ Feeley to start. Can you believe it?

Yep, and didn't New England, the reigning Super Bowl Champs, start out 0-4 last year?

Oh yeah, I forgot, they are coached by Belichick.

The Fins are coached by Dave Wannstedt.

Gee, why would anyone give up?

No More Negativity!!!

Okay, then I'm POSITIVE that unless this OL gets upgraded, we go no better than 6-10.

The defense, even with the injuries, is good enough. Only the OL is holding back what could be an explosive offense. McIntosh should help, but I think one or two more guys are needed. Other than that, the pieces are in place for the Dolphins being a playoff team.

no, they started 0-1, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2 and then never lost again. :(
