I was in that same thinking as you are. Only I was thinking it last week. Now, even with that bad-a$$ Defense we got, I don't see us beating.....ANYONE!

There really is no way to convince people to believe. You either do or you don't. Those who don't believe this team can win have to protect themselves from failure by embracing it. Those who do believe that this team still has a fighting chance risk failure...but never embrace it.
I hate failure. But, I hate the idea of quitting even more. I can't let myself be a quitter...even if this team falls way short of it's goal.
You are so wrong. We have plenty of talent on offense. Our receiving corps is outstanding. Our running back is above average. Our O-line sucks which is dragging down the rest of teh offense, including Feeley (or Fiedler if he was playing).MikeO said:Watch the games. Use commen sense. We aren't the Eagles of last year. This team has no talent on offense. The talent on defense is old which means it will only break down (as it always does) as the year goes on.
We suck.
Hold on here for a second.... I do think that Lamar Gordon will be a good back in this league if he gets the chance to play behind a decent line, but when did he become an above averge back.... did you determine this after the last 2 games when he couldnt break 50 or let alone sunday 25 yards....yes the WR's are above average, and yes the oline sucks but that is just funnyOhio Fanatic said:Our running back is above average.
I love the optimism. Unfortunately, this team has shown no signs of "turning it around" after the first two games. It looks like it's gonna be a struggle for a few weeks yet. I really don't think it's a matter of giving up. I hate to see the Phins in this state. However, it just doesn't seem like they're prepared to snap out of it yet.WCUgodsmacked13 said:How quickly so many of you give up on this team. We're 0-2 not 0-7 or 0-10. The Eagles were 0-2 last year, they made it to the NFC championship. I know this team is nothing like the Eagles were last year, so no one needs to point that out. Two things have been shown to me in these first two games, one the offense needs a lot of work. The o-line cant stop a high school d-line from applying pressure, Lamar Gordan is not running hard, and Feeley looks confused and tried to force to much. Second our defense is unbelieveable. 10 pts. allowed against Tennessee and 9 pts. versus Cincy. WOW. Thats with no Tim Bowens in both games, No Surtain, Reggie Howard, or Larry Chester in the other. All of these guys (minus Chester) is back against the Steelers. The offense will be a work in progress all season. With Damion McIntosh likely coming back this week this line will only get better. Will they be perfect, no, but I think that a win is likely if we can block better against the steelers blitzing. Gordon must run harder and feeley needs to be named the starter no matter what. Feeley is still feeling out the offense and it is hard to do that if he has no time. hopely with mcintosh coming back will help that.
