Former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Kelly Campbell is expected to sign with the Dolphins, according to a source

Sun Sentinel is reporting
Don't know anything about him.


In 2004, Campbell caught 19 passes for 364 yards and one touchdown as a backup. He also returned 35 kicks for 760 yards. His 18.6 yards per catch career average ranks as third-best in Vikings history.

I really hope this past year has humbled him a bit. He was the classic embodiment of the word "punk" from what I saw of him in 2004.

I wish he would just play and shut his damn mouth. It is embarrassing and classless. While he has talent he is truely a jackass.

Cmon, who doesnt occasionally speed around in the wrong lane with Marijuana sifting from the windows and a handgun safely tucked away in the glove compartment?
 
This is what I don't get. People like this get no media attention, second, third and fourth chances all while Ricky gets raped by the media. Would any one here classify Ricky as a punk or a malintended guy? I don't think so. Not even close.

What's there not to get? Ricky Williams, Heisman winner. NO Aints traded away whole draft for him. Wears a wedding dress and marries Ditka. Wears a helmet for interviews. Quits right before training camp. To smoke weed and do yoga. Lives in a tent living off I don't know what in Australia. Becomes a certified holistic trainer or whatever. Comes back. Fails a test.

Kelley Campbell. Who? Gets caught for what?

Media's job is to get you tuned in. It's obvious which story is more compelling. Has nothing to do with fairness.

Sounds like Saban really needs to keep a close eye on him.
 
Can't we draft someone who is better and with more character? Gee, come on Nick. Campbell doesn't sound like the type of player the Patriots would consider. I thought Saban evaluated players much like Bellichek? Guess I was wrong.
