WR Limas Sweed

what the heck happened to this guy in Pitt? he seemed to have speed, glue for hands, strength, balance...I don't remember seeing any of that in Pitt.
 
He was waived injuried. He won't be offering competition this year. Could store him on IR.
 
Yep lets move on to other positions like a good OL, TE or QB we really are pretty much set everywhere else except maybe OLB for dept!
 
Sweed can't stay healthy. The Steelers were disappointed with him. We are fine with who we have.
 
If the Steelers cut Weslye Saunders TE I'd sign him a heartbeat

so maybe we can take a look at him after he rehabilitates his skills by tearing up the CFL (and even then, there'll be some doubters who love to stereotype, eh?)

apples and oranges. Wake coming out of Penn State was not the same player as Wake coming out of the CFL. Cam Wake got benched multiple times his senior season at Penn State.

Sweed is awful. Big Ben begged for a tall WR, and they drafted Sweed. I'll never forget the one playoff game (AFCC against Baltimore) Big Ben hits him in stride for a sure fire TD, he drops it uncovered.

Plus, he's coming off of a ruptured achilles.
 
We can't have guys named Limas Sweed and Philip Livas on the same team. Too confusing...for me anyway...but then again, I tend to be a bit s-l-o-w.
