WR Solutions

I'd like to trade Cincy, and then get Stephen Hill XD

Not a fan of Manningham. Injuries plagued him last year. No thanks. Doesn't he line up in the slot anyways?

He has been injury plagued, but he lined up outside, Cruz spent the most time in the slot. Manningham is a vertical threat WR.

I think people forget that Marshall was drafted with the 119th pick in the 4th round. This is a deep WR draft and there are quite a few guys who play a game similar to his style but will cost a lot less. Just because you draft a guy in the first round doesn't mean he will be a stud. And just because you draft a guy in the 4th round doesn't mean he won't.

Patience.

I have 0% faith that Ireland will draft a WR before round 4. He spends his high picks on lineman and trys to find playmakers in the later rounds, which I might add is opposite of most GM's.

There's no such thing as patience around these parts. You know better than that! :D

Don't worry...we will be drafting our entire WR core soon. Who needs proven guys? Get rid of everyone and start over. When Philibin realizes you don't just pick up a WR core like GB's overnight....we'll be looking for the next coach, and a new QB to pass on.

I think even at #8 we take Floyd, he is gonna be like Marshall but faster. The kid can play and if we are not taking him because its a reach and we take some olinemen i will be pissed. We need playmakers regardless of rebuilding or not. We cant go into the season with Hartline as our #1. Not for Manning, Flynn nor Moore. No QB deserves to be put in that position, and that will not be a fair shot for the QB to have to play with such garbage. Unless we feel the OLB is a bigger need and take a OLB/DE then thats fine, but Oline can not be the first pick unless we address WR and QB in FA.

I like Tamme, who is a receiving tight end. He could even line up as a wr as he did in Indy. I am surprised he hasn't already been signed, but probably because of his blocking.
