WR Todd Lowber released

womp womp...Too many WRS right now...The tree shaking process has begun. I liked Lowber too but he's PS caliber at best
 
It's sad because he was 6'3" 205 pounds, ran a 4.2 in the 40 and could highjump 7'0". Hell of an athlete but just not a football guy.
 
people often mistake great athletic ability with being able to play football at the pro level.

How many WR's can you name, in the history of football, who were great because od speed? It is VERY over-rated.

The great one,s ran a 4.5/4.6, but knew how to play the game.
 
not surprising, at all

they went out and drafted 2 guys, we already have 3 established veterans in bess ginn and camarillo... what were we expecting out of our 2008 PS guys ? 1+1 = 2 in my world

next up is armstrong, joey haynos might be a goner also

sometimes I wonder if some players get into the pros and they lose their way in life and then fizzle out but this team doesnt have any stand out wide receivers thats why our rivials will be in the playoffs and why miami will be home in december.
 
I thin Anthony Armstrong is going to stick for you guys, if he's cut he'll be picked up immediately, he's only getting better and he's going to get his shot in TC to see how he performs.
 
Al Davis is probably already talking to him about joining his track.....err football team.
