Lets say we win monday night we would be 2-3 heading into the bye week..Do we pull the trigger on a trade possibly for Dbowe? Tony Sporano talked about the similarities with our offense and haleys offense when we traded for thigpen..So it wouldnt take long for bowe to be ready for the saints game..Who would we have to give up to get it done Ginn and a pick? Roth and A pick?

I can't really think of a way to put this nicely, though I understand the desperation for a #1 WR and the complete loss of reality that comes with it, but why in thee **** would KC trade Bowe?

according to schfter hes been on the block for a while now plus it looks like cassell has built a conction with bobby wade

I am not sure. I wouldn't want to give up a lot to get him, because we need to keep our picks to continue to build this team through the draft. We have been getting some pretty good deals with KC this year. It is nice that Pioli is in KC because Parcells I think has been getting a "family discount".

I would trade a 3rd round pick for him. Heck, maybe even through in Roth because I honestly think Roth's days as a Dolphin are over. They are not going to re-sign him in the offseason.

It's possible - if we win, I'd really like to see this move. I could live with Ginn or Roth being part of the deal, but would really prefer it to be Roth. Roth and a 3rd, and if we have to, a late rounder to sweeten the deal. I would not want to give up a 2nd or higher.

I'd be ok with Ginn being traded, but I still think he would be a good weapon when not drawing double teams and the #1 corner.

Trading Bowe because Cassel has formed a connection with wade would be like the pats trading Moss because Brady has a connection with Welker. It makes no sense. They're a rebuilding team that should have learned from their trading Allen. Trading a young, budding star WR simply makes no sense. I understand stockpiling draft picks, but all that does is open one more hole they would have to fill with that pick. Rebuilding teams should trade veterans, not their youth.

That being said, I would love to have Bowe here. It just seems ludicrous to me. But so did trading Jared Allen, so who knows.

Because if u've seen KC play, its not like they are just missing that one LB or one Safety, they have many many holes and if they could get a 2nd or a 3rd, roth and one of our WR's like greg c. then that fills much for needs for them.. They are years away, bowe will not resign with such a poorly run franchise.

Now, im no GM but to really build a succesful franchise for multiple years u need a franchise QB and a good Defense as building blocks (ex. Pittsburg, New England), u do not base your franchise on a WR... If they could get a good WR2 or WR3, a great run stopping LB and a pick that they could use for whatever issue they need, that is much more effective from their prespective.

The dolphins on the otherhand are a WR1, a safety stepping up, a LB or NT in the first round and a decent pass catchin TE to go with Fasano's blocking ability away from being serious serious contenders..

He's about the only bright spot on thier team...so I'd be equally as shocked if they traded him.

possible trades for him thatd id be good with...

2nd rounder and Camarillo
3rd rounder 6th rounder and Roth
3rd rounder roth and camarillo
4th rounder Ginn and Roth

Theres others but im sure one of those would spark some interest between the 2 teams

I absolutely agree, and they've begun to do that. The team obviously feels they have a franchise QB in Cassel and they've made strides on D, though I think they need an ILB more than anything (something we certainly cannot help them with).

They're basing their franchise on Cassel, and that requires WR's. I don't understand why they would trade his strongest weapon. But, then again, they let Gonzales go; so what do I know, other than the fact that they remain at the bottom of the league.

if we could keep our 1st and 2nd and find a way to get the trade done, id freak!!

Then we could get NT like Cody or someone else (many great options) or someone like Spikes or Rolando in the first
and then the opposite of wut we drafted in the 1st in the second..

1st- NT
2nd- LB
3rd- Gone
4th- TE
rest- depth

idk, us fans could only dream of a true #1 WR, at least we have one thing every fan can be happy about, we are only a couple of players away from Contention.. (WR1, ILB, NT, pass catching TE, and maybe a S.. hopefully one of ours steps up though..

I also think we are overvaluing Roth.

Probably, most fans overevaluate their own players, so im sure i am at least a little. he is no throw in though, he brings some fire on D and definatly has the ability to help stop the run...

I agree, and I think there will be several available this offseason without sacrificing our future through trading draft picks and players.
