Everyone lately has been posting that we need a receiver to complement Chambers and Booker. After looking through the available FA list trying to find a player that was young, tall, athletic, versatile and would be able to sign at a reasonable price, I found:

Name: Randal Williams
Height: 6-3
Weight: 210 lbs.
Age: 27
Pos: WR
Experience: 5 years
College: New Hampshire

He is a solid role player on offense but makes his best contribution on special teams. He has good overall athletic ability, size and speed. As a receiver, he has the ability to play all the positions including the tight end position on special situation. His excellent size and top end speed make him a threat in the vertical passing game especially when he lines up at tight end position. He has great hands, he will catch the ball away from his body and he has good run after the catch ability. He is a decent route runner, he has good jumping ability and he will win most battles when has to go up for the ball. He makes a very good red zone target. However, Williams is a much better athlete than he is a football player. He has a hard time taking his natural talent to the playing field. He is not a smooth route runner, he is not crisp coming into and out of his breaks therefore he does not get good separation from the defender. Overall, Williams has not had the chance to develop over the years to his potential as a receiver. He has not caught a lot balls for the amount of time he has been in the league.

With Culpepper as our QB and the coaching, he could be that diamond in the rough that we could develop with in our own system.

I'm just glad Saban finally shut all those TO TO TO TO what about TO fans up. I dont think we need a WR but anyone is worth a chance. THANK YOU SABAN you are the man.

I know of him from his days with Dallas...and what you said about him being very big, fast and athletic are spot on.

One problem though......

HE CAN'T CATCH. The guy had the athletic ability to be very good, but he has hands of stone. Friend of mine is a die-hard Cowboy fan and used to let me know all about him.

Me too. I got sick of hearing all of this stuff about TO. In my opinion Chris Chambers is a much better player. And we have Booker who doesn't always get as much credit as he deserves. We could possibly add one more wide reciever but at the moment the Dolphins have much more pressing needs on the Offensive line and at Corner Back and Safety. We also need a backup QB at the moment.

Rumur has it were going to sign Kelley Campbell, he used to play with C-pep in Minny.:dolphins:

I hear Kelly Campbell. He is a great slot receiver. He also will do wonders on sp. teams. I know everyone loves Wes and I do to but Kelly has more tools in the KR game. I hope that we acquire his services. Anyone else?

How about drafting Skyler Green from LSU.He should fall to us in the 3rd or 4th round.

i thought kelly was signed. maybe not. it would suck to take carries away from wes, but hey whatever is best for this team.
