I know its waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to early to tell, but is anybody getting as excited as I am bout these 2 tackles? We may have found our foundation for the 4-3, or tremendous depth in the 3-4.

Both of them seem to have alot of talent and i am sure that they will do a fine job. I just can't wait to see them play in the Pre-Season games.

I will wait til they play in a game before I jump to statements.

Yeah I'm pretty excited about them too. I think they're very similar, but they've really done a pretty remarkable job in camp impressing people. I was absolutely convinced Vickerson would not pan out. So, I was glad we got Wright because they are a lot alike. Now it really does look like if one of them is suitable to playing NT they could be starting together in our future.

But for now I feel comfortable knowing Larry Chester and Keith Traylor are here for us to plug in when we need tough run stoppers.

Im excited, and I hope they can perform well. I saw Belichick stack up on D-Line first, and if they dont pan out, I would expect that our next draft pick next years will be D-Line (possibly QB).

im one of the ones who said a good while back that Kevin Vickerson..could be the next Kevin Carter..

I think Saban was thinking the same thing come draft day.:)

im excited now, with having traylor, holliday, carter, zgonia and of course our ends, manuel wright was a steal in my opinion and i agree will be a factor next season, as for vickerson we'll have to wait and see

i watched vickerson play in person las yr wen he played rutgers and he was a hell of a force on thatline even though rutgers one the game he did a real good job of cloggng the run and getting a decent pass rush

I'm very surprised by the depth chart at DT.
Wright is out of shape, but has shown potential.
Vickerson is in shape, and needs to do something to move up on the charts.
Zgonina and our run-defense was lousy last year.

Josh Shaw is a surprise... haven't seen one article on him yet.

This team is still one more young DT away from me being satisfied. I'd like to see a first day pick in the 06 or 07 draft spent on the position, particularly if the team will be running more 3-4 at that point.
