WTF was Washington thinking?

It's the end of Beck and Grossman in Washington.

Washington obviously wanted depth behind RGIII. Not a bad insurance policy or trade bait in a few years. They do have a LOT of other needs though, so yeah, not the smartest move by far.

I always enjoy watching the Redskins suck anyways. It's like a tradition.
 
I would say drafting a punter in the 3rd round is.
 
They are thinking Eagles style of Backup...Make them look sexy and 2 years from now you get a 2nd rounder. Its an investment and takes money off the books (which they seriously need to do with horrible FA moves) when they release/trade Grossman

You're talking about getting Cousins this late? That's a great move. The dude's an ideal backup. There's nothing wrong with injecting talent into the most important position in the game when all you had before was ****ing Grossman and Beck.

It gives the impression that it's insurance in case RG3 doesn't work out. Unneeded pressure on your supposed franchise Qb....Maybe Washington has buyers remorse, lol
