Feeley sucked last night.

But I am floored by all the "cut him" threads. He has played no worse this offseason than Gus. He may improve (probably not) but Gus is a veteran who is what he is.

We have no one people, but cutting AJ does not solve him. We need that one in three games he is going to give us, and we need the one in three Gus will give us, and maybe, MAYBE we will limp to a .500 season.

Prepare yourself for the anti-Feeley onslaught!:fire::fire::fire::fire::fire:

Its the "well he played bad lets cut him" train of thought. I haven't been impressed with either A.J or Gus but they are what we have to work with. If we are to win this yr it will be on the legs of ricky and ronnie and the backs of the D. Throw in a little Welker as well

it is easy the loudest people are generally the most stupid

I agree with the WTF do ya mean cut Feeley he plays better than that QB that supposibly "Knows the System". I am sorry to say that I believe this site has been inundated with Gus lovers but must face the reality that GUS SUCKS!!!

he was indeed horrible ... however, as i said in another thread: Feeley got a total of three plays with the first team last night... exactly three more than he's gotten the last two preseason games...

just like last summer... i really feel he has not gotten a fair chance at reps with the first unit in game action... sorry, but he just hasn't...

the offensive line is going to have to step up and play consistently for us to have a chance. it seems that the oline is hit or miss week to week. houck really needs to get these guys playing better. if he doesnt i would say saban's biggest mistake of the offseason was not addressing our oline

Lets face it..there are fans of the dolphins who know absolutely nothing about the game...and then there are fans of the game and the dolphins..I think its very obvious which are which.

Perhaps, from you view, but Feeley can get better...Gus is what he is..

Shucks..this is turning into another Gus vs. AJ...sorry Finatic...

But..you are absolutely right and with the consistency (or lack thereof) that the the OL has been playing with, we'll need both guys because at least one of them will get killed...

One of the most intelligent posts yet....

How do you figure?

Of the games this preseason he played very well against Tampa. Gus has not played well once.

Gus wins the "I suck more than you' contest.

The replies to this thread restores my faith in Dolfans. Some of you do get it.

While I may think one thing the only thing I ask for from the qb in recent times is to not make a stupid mistake. Hey there goes a pick six, there goes a fumble. I just want the qb to play smart whoever it is.

(whispering) Cutting him may be a little extreme, but it does relieve the team and coaches from continually having to make excuses for a guy that can't even be a stud in practice with no pressure. Sometimes you have to cut your losses.

Feeley is a terrible quarterback that isnt even close to frerrote. in the pittsburgh game gus should have completed about 8 more passes and that would have brought his completion percentage and quarterback rating up. i was at that game and i saw all those drops by the reciever. Feeley is 28 and still doesnt know how to play the position. i watched every game last year and watched him this preseason and he hasnt improved at all. everyone says he did great in philadelphia in the 5 games he played but he didnt do anything special in those games. i looked at the stats from philadelphia and he threw for around 200 yards a game with 6 touchdowns and 5 interceptions and a quarterback rating of 73. what is so special about that. 6 touchdowns in 5 games is not that good. he had one good game on monday night that everyone saw and people thought he was great. he has never been a good quarterback and never will be. get him off the team he is no good at all to help this team. it will also give us more cap room by getting rid of his contract.
