Farmer????

keep hearing things that Xanders never picked any talent in Denver so I don't know know and have no clue. But I keep hearing great things about Farmer.

so who do you want? Farmer or Xanders
 
If for nothing else, I wanted Demaryius and Ansah in the draft, and he got them both. Xanders.

where are you hearing that from? he actually ran some drafts up there. and don't even begin to lay tebow on him, that was purely josh.

I remember hearing that Tebow was a McDaniels draft pick. I sure hope so, as that was the worst pick of the draft. And no one come at me with the playoff win. Dude isn't even in the league anymore, for a reason...

Not sure where I heard that from or tie it to because I've heard a thousand different opinions over the last week. You hear he split the atom then the next guy is saying he drafted Tebow. So much misinformation out there
 
Its Farmer to me right now but not sure were done looking.

Gotta wonder if Lazor originally chose Detroit because we hesitated in making him an offer.

If we hesitate on Farmer, then Cleveland might make a power move even though they are last in HC fill.
 
Farmer has been noted as not having a lot of experience in college players, moreso pro talent though.
 
I live in Colorado, and I think the main reason that Xander was let go (from the reports I read in the Denver Post, and listening to KOA 850, the Broncos' flagship station), was because John Elway is a bit of a control freak and he just decided that he didn't want to keep Xander around. I think the Boy Wonder (Josh McDaniel) was the guy who brough Xander in....usually it's the GM who brings the coach in and not vice versa, but I think McDaniel hired Xander? Once McDaniel wore out his welcome, so did Xander. If I were making the hiring decision, I would probably go with Farmer.
 
I'd be optimistic about either, but I think you know what you're getting more with Xanders (who is good). I think Ross could pass up someone who is good for a guy who seems great but is still more of an unknown, but I'd feel better about Xanders.
 
Both look good. Xanders has hands on experience operating as a GM while Farmer is a shark on the way up.
Only possible negative re Farmer is that he is apparently super religious and likes to select committed Christians. That scares me a little in that it doesn't matter if a player is religious or not if he can play. Nobody would have prayed harder than Tim Tebow but he still had a pass completion percentage of < 47%.
If the devout Christian agenda is wrong, I stand corrected.
 
Either one. Perhaps Farmer was around for more superstars but Xander got a lot of talent in Denver that are real contributors.
 
I hope it's not Farmer.... Xanders would be a good hire
