Rhodes: a big, physical corner who is great in press coverage. is also a great tackler. he could come in and start right away at field corner. great fit for our defense.

Amerson: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/e...amerson-spent-2012-trying-to-break-int-record Amerson says he spent 2012 guessing on routes and trying to break the interception record. I figured there was a reason why he played so well in 2011 and struggled against Tennessee and Miami. He is a phyiscal and has long arms at 6'1 205. He has outstanding ball skills and looks like a WR going for the ball. NC State used him in off man coverage, which I don't think is a good fit for him. I believe he is a perfect fit for our defense. He is the prototypical press man corner. Amerson pulled in 13 interceptions in 2011! I think he should be brought in as a boundary corner. Here are his interceptions from 2011: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5J62b8pb2qE

I'd be fine with Rhodes at 12, even if I prefer pass rush help there, but Amerson at 42 would irk me.

would be our Sam Madison and Patrick surtain, not the second coming of Vontate Davis and Sean Smith!

1. You have no way of knowing or guaranteeing that

2. There are plenty of other needs. 42 is too high for Amerson.

Yeah, pass on Amerson in the second round. I'm okay with a CB at 12. Kind of boring but I see the need.

If we pass up another slam dunk DE/LB (Clay Matthews) for a corner again, I'm gonna scream.

Who is the slam dunk DE/OLB that you want at 12? Hindsight is 20/20. I think X. Rhodes would be an excellent pick at 12...depending on how FA goes

Rhodes @ 12 is ok, Amerson is not @42, in my opinion... Lemonier-Okafor-Carradine DE, Ertz-Escobar TE, Steadman Bayley, Hopkins, Hunter WR...even Ball or Bernard RB would have a bigger value...
