Y. Bell was right

The D. played with no fire. Especially the front 7. Not saying the db's played well. They did not. But when Brady had no one to throw to he sat back in the pocket, took a sip of tea, and waited until someone came open. Last year was different. At least the first two games were different. I really do think this game is going to tell if Tony will keep his job. If they have another bad showing, I think Ross will not keep him unless they are a 10-6 or maybe a 9-7 team.

If the D can't come out on opening day with any fire it's going to be a long season. They should make the players live in Fort Myers, nothing to do here.

You must've missed Detroit make a complete mockery out of that O-line 2 weeks ago then?
And that was BEFORE they lost their center.

I agree the O-line has made both Billicheat and his boy into the story they are, but it has already been written about ad-naseum they just arent that good at this juncture this year.

By the next time we see them, they will probably be gelling into a fine unit, which means we will be ROYALLY screwed up in NE.

How motivated do you think NE was in the Detroit game? How motivated do you think the Lions were? If they played today, I'm rather confident the Pats would beat them handily.

It would be interesting to research Mike Nolan's defense vs Bill Belichick. Seems like Nolan is his *****, afterall in 3 games vs the Pats in the Nolan era they have hung 117 point on us (39 per game).
