Had the Colts finished 19-0, Shula said he would have been the first to congratulate coach Tony Dungy. Instead, he was on the phone Sunday to congratulate the Chargers' coach.

"Marty Schottenheimer is a great friend of mine," Shula said, "and has become an even better friend now." :sidelol:

Shula is the consummate gentleman. His quote shows his pride and passion for the game and the Dolphins after all of these years. Shula ROCKS!!!

Shoes is what football is all about. He is the icon of football to me.

Shulas the man, I loved him being the coach and I felt bad for him when he steped down. Fact is, Miami fans a hell of a lot to be thankful for. We have always had one of the best teams in the league and Saban looks like he will continue the trend.

Shula is A-1 !! We were among the elite in the NFL for twenty-something years under Shula. Robbie-Shula opened the door for other professional sports teams to come to Miami.
