According to this, basically any scenario that leaves us tied forthe division lead we win the division. Other than that we need a bunch of other people to lose to make Wildcard.

yeah, i didnt realize how tough it would be for us to make the wild card even if we do somehow win out. Baltimore and Denver would have to lose games they probably wont. Our best chance is to run the table, and hope New England stumbles in one of their 4 upcoming games.

and i thought 10-6 was guaranteed... i guess not

Denver is too far ahead. However, if the Ravens lose to the surging Packers tonight, it isn't inconceivable they lose again. If the Steelers get healthy, they could take care of them for us.

Don't forget the pats went 11-5 last year and didn't make it.

Dont forget Buffalo was a winnable game and looked what happened. I think realisticly, we need several teams to lose a few times because we certainly will.

I dunno, Denver had a few tough games left as does Baltimore. First thing first though, win at Jacksonville.

Nice way to see how things will pan out and what fixtures remain for each team.

this page is awesome. thanks. i ran thru a bunch of senerio's and we can go 9-7 and still make the playoffs as long as we beat the jags and steelers. if we lose to either team we will be out of the playoffs. This is based on favorites winning there games the rest of the season. So we have a really good chance of making the playoffs either way.

IMO, the Pats aren't a lock against either the jets or the bills, so we might have a little more wiggle room for the division title than I originally thought. Can't count on it of course, but I would expect that if those two teams smell New England's blood in the water they will go after them full tilt, much like the bills did to us.

I ran through that generator a few times, and the last time gave us the benefit of a couple of mild toss-ups going in our favor featuring our AFC rivals--but no major upsets. Then I had us lose to Pittsburgh in the last week and we still got in as a wild card. It's really too far out to count anything as a sure thing right now, but there are a lot of possibilities that could work out for Miami.

i don't know why, but if the pats and dolphins are both 10-6, the dolphins will win the tiebreaker in all scenarios except if the pats win all three of their last games (buffalo, houston and jacksonville) ... if they win the three and lose to caronlina, for some reason, the generator puts them ahead of us

If we win out and Baltimore drops one more game, we are gauranteed the last playoff spot (wildcard)
.....the same goes with New England.....they key is to WIN out

We've had a tough time trying to stay over and above the .500 mark, but now is when it counts.

If we win out and NE loses to Buffalo, we are in.. this appears to be the easiest scenario for us.

i just found a scenario where we make the playoffs at 8-8..
