Their blurb on the fins was interesting:

FALLING
Miami Dolphins (1-3) – Considering how poorly tackle L.J. Shelton and the rest of the offensive line is faring, failing to address the offensive line in the NFL draft might have been a big long-term mistake. At some point, coach Nick Saban has to take some heat for this start, right?

They did address the o-line in the draft - in the 4th round with their third pick this year. Love the expert analysis.

I've been on Saban's butt since this last loss as bad as anyone, but you can't ignore the facts when doing it.

Good call out

If a team had a terrible QB or RB situation and didn't draft one until the 4th round, would you say they addressed the issue? I wouldn't. It follows that I wouldn't say we addressed the O-Line issue in the draft just because we took an O-Lineman in the 4th.

If thats how Saban addresses the O-Line then surely he deserves criticism.

He did address it, just not in the first day like he probably should have. I would've liked to have seen maybe Mangold in the first instead of Allen (bit of a reach, but he was the best C on the board and we needed one).

the oline is keeping the offense down

hindsight is 20/20

looking at in now, yeah we need a couple of people on the line especially at center

but we also still need a corner, will allen/bell have done well but the rest has not

jason allen will be great when he gets the time to play

I was thinking the same thing about Mangold especially in hindsight with Allen not even playing it seems an even more obvious choice. However Toledo was injury prone and was a project saying that we addressed the OL by drafting him is a bit of a stretch to say the least especially when you consider he's currently injured again :tantrum:

There is no hindsight. we've needed help on the O-Line for a long time now, we didnt need anymore DB's until Saban decided to get rid of Madison, Surtain and Schulters all very good players and replace them with the likes of Lehan, Goodman and Allen.

taking allen over anyone was a huge mistake (AS OF RIGHT MOW)

so true....Saban has made very poor personnel moves, its time to hold him accountable....

the OLINE is just as miserable as when Wanny left...

Jason Allen was a wasted pick
Ronnie Brown is ok, but he will never even be as nimble as Ricky Williams

so... you think a 4th rounder addressed the issue, huh?
How's that workin out for us?

Are you serious. You consider 1 single 4th round draft pick as addressing the offensive line. C'mon now.
