Very nice read that not only includes Dolphins material. Also a nice piece (Question # 9) on which AFC rookie will make most impact. It mentions Allen along with Michael Huff. Also mentions Miami's trio of rookies that started last year. Sorry if already posted.

2. Is Daunte Culpepper really that close to returning for Miami's season opener? Culpepper is a phenomenal talent with some yips in his game. He still holds the ball longer than most coaches would like, and he got away with that in the past because of his athletic ability and the fact that Randy Moss cured a lot of evils. Culpepper's failures in 2005 with the Minnesota Vikings are not solely because of Moss' departure. Culpepper also lost Pro Bowl center Matt Birk and offensive coordinator Scott Linehan. That's a trifecta of ugliness that even the best quarterbacks don't survive.

***On another note***

For those who are wondering about CB signings, Antonio Cromartie agreed to terms on a 5 year contract with San Diego worth approximately $12.75 million with $7+ guaranteed. This could give us a gauge on how much Jason Allen might get, especially since Cromartie was picked 19th and Allen 16th. I would expect a very similar contract for Allen.

thanks for the post, cole was my favorite read with the herald and i definately miss his forum there, good to hear from him again
