I think this would be a SOLID 2nd round Ben Grubbs who Mel Kiper said on NFL network the other day would be a top 10 pick if he played tackle, and Zach Miller would be nice to, but it all depends on what happens in the first round, they have us picking Jammal Anderson at 9 and im not crazy about this pick and i think if we dont get Quinn we have to take a QB in the 2nd

SECOND-ROUND PROJECTIONS

i would love that 2nd round... thats my dream second round... i want zach miller bad, and grubbs is diesel too...

Nah, we don't need a TE. We would need either a QB or WR with one of the two 2nd rounders. Depending on who we select at #9. Brown, Ginn Jr or Quinn.

that draft has the phins taking jamal anderson in the first. it would be a horrible 2 rounds to not come away with a QB.

I love Grubbs at #40 but hate TE Miller as second 2nd rounder, an excellent WR will be there which is a better value than TE.

Thats the best second round mock I have ever seen for the Dolphins.

Why would we take a TE when USC WR Steve Smith is still available? We need a WR more than we need a slow TE.

I like that pick. Grubbs is highly rated by just about everyone. Excellent choice for a guard. He might be gone by the 2nd round though. If he is, I'd jump on him with both feet. I hear Auburn has an experienced O-line coach who recruits and develops them into real good ones. Just look at how well Marcus McNeill did with the Chargers did last year ... Pro Bowl as a rookie. With a good training camp, you know that Grubbs will come in and will be ready to start as a rookie.

I would think we would take Beck over Smith or Miller. And Miller would be an instant upgrade over all our TEs, Smith would be 3rd WR at best.

Love Grubbs. Best guard in in the draft and we need one opposite of Shelton. This guy could anchor LG for us the next 10+ years. Dwayne Jarrett was really the person I wanted in round 2, but his stock seems to be rising, so Grubbs is next in line. If we grab Levi Brown at 9 too, our line is set.

That's a pretty good 2nd round. I'm rooting for Toledo to take a OG starting spot, which is why I'd rather consider us get a WR in the 2nd round since this is a very good WR class. And with Booker iffy, we need a 2nd option other than inconsistent Chambers.
