8 1/2 minutes in is what's called inverted veer, or a power read. The pulling guard and double team at the POA tells you this. Cam has been running it his entire career, as opposed to the more traditional zone read.
Problem other than Roberts not stepping to take on the pulling guard at the POA was the alignment on the other side with Baker - he should be lined up straight up on the backside guard, instead he was lined up a little too wide. As if they were going to leave the other DE unblocked and read him.
It's simple OBS rules (On Back Side). The playside tackle is always going to block on backside and leave the playside DE unblocked and read him.
