He is a good talent evaluator, He will fined us a good, He will do good in the draft and He will turn things around.
Say what you want, but Im glad we have him. " GO PHINS" through good or bad. ALLWAYS!!!!!!!!!:hump:

Bush, Moore, Marshall. Anyone ever here of these guys ?

I think he's a very good scout of talent, but I don't like him being GM. I really wanna get this "you win in the trenches" rancid tuna philosophy out of Miami. Go draft some linemen, but get them in the 2nd or 3rd round, not the first.

Not defending Ireland, but you can pick and choose a selection that any gm made and say that he should of taken this or that guy

We will see what happens in this years draft and FA period. I gave his draft last year, the first where he was completely in charge, a B-. Not bad, but hoping he can do better.

I'd have rather seen him gone, mostly due to purging anything Parcells remnants, but if being the reason we didn't sign a coach with a .350 winning season batting average with control issues, then he's off to a very positive start this preseason!

the best players on a 6-10 team...yipppe

Jeff Ireland is the Channing Crowder of GMs
He'll show up,do what's asked of him
just don't expect anything special/outstanding from him

We can name many moves that he failed on as well. Since the conspiracy theorists here believe he is a lady man and capitulated to Parcells every whim we can only view last year as a "true" Ireland draft. I do not see any stars jumping out at me from that draft, there are a lot of incomplete grades ala Daniel Thomas and his injury plagued season but no sure fire hits. I am truly unimpressed with his job so far especially since I do not dismiss his picks for the years previous to this one. Sproles would have fit here just as well as Bush, Moore is a good pick up for a backup QB ( i like him but as our starter I don't know) and Marshall ( parcells pick people?) seems like he might go off the deep end at any point and without a good qb he was wasted under Henne.

Ireland is going to have to hit it out of the park in picking a coach, in FA, and in the draft for me to come around on him. I still don't believe he's the guy to get this franchise to the next level.
