I am a Gator and Tebow fan and I do want him to do well. He needs a win in his first game as a starter this season. That game happens to be against the Dolphins.

The really freaky thing is that this game will also be(as we all know) Gator National Champ day or whatever.

I'm always a Dolphin fan over any college. A big Dolphin fan over being a Gator fan. Heck, we could have players from FSU and I'd barely be upset. I'm from a line of longtime Floridians. My College teams in order are the Gators, the Hurricanes and the Seminoles and then teams in the SEC. My NFL team are the Dolphins and then the Buccs (I really tried to follow the Jag Offs but just could not).

But like many Dolphin fans I've starting wanting us to lose enough games for a big change here in Miami. We need a blow up of everything here (Ross, we are stuck with).

So, we need to lose games. And losing certain games will mean more and "help" our cause then others. Homes games are one example. The Dolphins losing to the Tim Tebow lead Broncos should cause it to rain hell in the stadium. Fans should throw beer bottles and the big screens and everything else they can break.

The cry of "Ross Sucks", "Ross Sucks" should be started and go all though the game. The cameras should show him hanging his head in shame and then pan over to where the Skybox full of Celebs are partying without knowing the score of the game.

I have to tell you that if this was Gainesville and the reverse was happening, there would be a stadium full of vile Gator fans.

So let's get behind losing this game to force a cleaning of the stalls and to get a early draft.

Remember, us getting the 1st pick has a very very small chance of happening, But us getting a early enough pick to get maybe someone like Landry Jones. OR, a low enough pick so we can trade down.

Having extra picks here would be the thing needed to move down. I said last year we should consider trading our 1st round pick then for a 1st rounder this year. I never thought that Ryan Mallet would fall so far and that we would then pass on him.

I'd trade P Soliai and B Marshall right now for draft picks. Chances are the next FO is going to get rid of them and their overpriced contracts anyway. But there also lies the problem, the FO and coaching staff we have now has no reason to try to plan for the next draft because they will not be here.

Ross and his Dolphins are straight up ****in' pathetic. I can't be soon enough for him, his *** clown GM and his goon HC are booted out the back door.

I don't care, we need to finish last in the league and get Luck...after that we'll start buliding (we actually have a bit of talent).

im with you i would also get rid of marsh and soliai for some picks. they are the only ones that we could get anything for. and worth giving up. im watching the detroit lions right now and watching stafford lead his team. the lions were smart enough to draft a qb after there 0-16 season and look where they are at now. if we dont draft Luck or any other competant qb next year i can honestly say i would lose all faith in this orginization. and ive benn a dolphan since kindergarten.

I chuckle at Tebow's NFL QBing ability ... however, I have confidence Sparano can make him a star!!

Hey if you're a bigger Gator fan than Dolphin fan so be it. But don't you think you could root for him to do good, the dolphins to win, and than for Denver to go on a big run?? I like that scenario a lot better

Good job propagating the South Florida-fan stereotype:up:

Well, the Broncos is a hurdle for the Dolphins.

I too will be rooting for Tebow to have a great game, still hope we lose. Our D will make Tebow look like Manning with Vick's legs...This D couldnt stop a pee wee football team, and I do want everyone including Ross gone from our team. I dont want to quit on this team, but im finding it harder to call this "my team" when i disagree with every single thing about it.

We need to lose to stay in the Luck race, but I really hate Tim Tebow I hope Denver wins, but only because Tebow breaks his leg and Orton comes in and dominates.

Yep, whoever is up, that is who the "typical" South Florida fan, is a fan of.

I can understand it from women, and plenty of times when the Heat/Marlins are down the women don't want anything to do with sports, but when they are up they wanna throw parties, rock gear and change plans because of the game . . . I understand it, its normal.

But its crazy how that works for men fans down in South Florida as well. No loyality, no passion, just hop from bandwagon to bandwagon. I guess the suicide watch is high right now with the Fins 0-4, Marlins not great and offseason for them, NBA lockout and no Florida teams in the top 25 college football. The Panthers won't have a better chance to take over the area than right now although I would expect more of challenge from high school football than that happening
