Yea or nay to Morgan Moses at 19?

You guys stuck on the first round? I would select him if I could move back maybe to 23-25 and gain a 3rd or 4th, but this guy is talented. you guys are worried about kipper and Mcshay draft grades lol.

Disagree.

McShay and Kiper grades have nothing to do with recognizing Moses is far from a first round talent.

Toss in that plenty of 2nd round OT are basically on par with Moses are you are drafting him in the first round, at 19 purely on his "frame" hype.

Trade back and you miss on top tier talent in order to settle for a RT and get pressue off your shoulders in filling a need that could easily be had in the 2nd/3rd round. Now, if Lewan or a top tier OT is available at 19 you grab him, but I think Lewan/Martin/Matthews/Robinson are all gone by 19.

Ravens and Steelers will snatch up the last of them.

Personally I wouldn't, but I learnt last year that teams are now more than ever willing to reach for OL in an effort to protect their QBs (Kyle Long, Travis Frederick, Justin Pugh) than wait and look elsewhere. If we miss on one of the big name OTs, you have to consider Moses and even Su’a-Filo if you really want to address RT early. Hell personally if he impresses, don't count Joel Bitonio from sneaking into the first.

Either way, with guys like those I just mentioned, Michael Schofield, Jack Mewhort, Wesley Johnson, Billy Turner (who we had in for a private workout),Matt Patchan, Cameron Flemming, David Yankey, Ja'Wuan James, James Hurst, Weston Richburg, and even guys that the board is split on like Cyrus Kuandijio (though I don't think he fits us), and Antonio Richardson (as well as a bunch of others not mentioned) this is a deep enough draft class where it'd be okay not to reach at 19 if we didn't need to.

Now my feeling right now is that the BPA will probably be a DT (which is not a need) so the question becomes would the team be willing to take an LB in round 1.

Like we did with dion jordan. Didn't work well.

You can't draft players on "measurables". That's an ireland thing and is USELESS.

Draft players based on PROVEN PRODUCTION against top-level competition. Get the guys who are the cream of the crop in the major conferences.
