I didn't see any thread dedicated solely to Yeremiah Bell, so I decided to start one. This guy was an absolute beast today. I'm glad to see him starting, and hopefully he can be the long term answer at that safety position. He played very well in coverage, and he made a heck play to cause the fumble. The guy is a true ballhawk.

Yeremiah Bell is a playmaker in the secondary. I think he just fits the system so well. I think all the dbs played well today and i hope that they keep playing like the way they did today.
 
It's about time we started Yeremiah he has been making plays for 3 years now. I think our secondary will be a lot better off with him back there.
 
Bell was everywhere. I am glad Saban finally started him.:dolphins::dolphins::dolphins:
 
All of our DBs played really well today. Way to go Yeremiah Bell and Jason Allen! Our newer guys are steppin' UP !! Yeremiah did good in coverage and got 5 solo tackles ... Saban likes to see both ... excellent coverage and good tackling. Saban will be a happy camper with the DBs this week.

Will Allen got 7 tackles and 6 solo tackles ... 3rd on the team behind Channing and Zach. Will played with a lot of fire and enthusiasm today. He covered Muhammed about as good as can be done. Great game by Channing ... 10 tackles 8 solos. I'm glad we had Channing instead of Ogunleye today, no doubt about it. AWESOME DAY for our defense. The WHOLE defense. Kevin Carter got him a NICE sack. The defensive line looked ferocious out there today. Matt Roth got himself 4 nice tackles ... one in the backfield if I recall. The D-line kept Rex Grossman in a state of shock all afternoon ... "thunderstruck" ... like on Matt's website.

Will Allen and Renaldo Hill had those receivers blanketed pretty darn good today. Hill and Bell got interceptions if I recall ... JT of course nabbed a nice one and took it in for a TD. JT was just UNBELIEVABLY GOOD today.

The Dolphins "D" should get just as much praise from the Dolphins fans as the offensive guys have. They made the #1 defense in the NFL look like Pop Warner compared to them today. They just plain DOMINATED. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. It was like a complete reveral of what the NFL gurus and swamis were predicting for this game ... like Dan LeBetard on PTI and 790 The Ticket radio. What is Dan LeBetard going to say about THIS game? What about Sid Rosenberg ... the Giants fan in Miami? Hmmm. Jason Taylor and me both want to know.

What a great day for Dolphins football. :D

exactly, he didnt even play that much last year...but when he did he made huge plays....start him
 
the guy hits and makes play. he's been making plays for a few weeks now. his starting was long overdue.
 
he made a few minor mistakes but he was all over the field today and it was nice to see jason allen show som of his potential
 
He deserves his own thread. He played great today and there is no reason he shouldn't have been starting all year.

I don't recall the mistakes...enlighten me.
 
On our preseason predicted rosters I put him starting at SS and actually argued with someone about it because they had him listed at FS!! The guy is a player and should've started the season at SS!!
