(taking a break from the Dave Boston Marathon...)

Anyone remember this guy? I wonder how his rehab went last season, and if the team thinks he can compete for a roster spot this year. With Marion out of the loop and noone new in to replace him, there may be room for a sleeper safety to make the roster.

Thoughts?
 
I did read somewhere that the coaching staff was real high on this guy, but how well will he compete? Who knows!? If nothing else hope he makes the team the best it can be whether it is bc of depth in the safety pos or starting s!
 
he will have to compete with the new guy from NE Akins as well as Wooden with Freeman and Knight set as starters. Gamble is gone as is McKnight (on STs).... so he need to make his mark on STs for sure
 
has the potential hope he stays healthy we need some hungry blood and hard hitters:cool:

Difference is, we picked Bell knowing that he was coming off of reconstructive surgery. Had he not injured himself at the end of his senior season, he would have been a first day pick.

Guys like Shannon, Green and Eddie Moore were all drafted high and then proceeded to injure themselves.
 
Bell could turn into another Ogun for us or he could just never play a down for us. We'll have to see but he was very good in college till he got hurt.
