After he and JT giving rah rah messages to his team through the media, we see him get burned and make stupid plays all day. wtf. he trips 2 times on deep balls at him. he gets faked out of his deep coverage to leave sean smith out to dry on a td bomb as well. It's like this every game with him.

He and JT need to realize it's time to hang it up. No impact.

Next season's cuts can't get here soon enough. kthxbai.

Sean Smith is just as worthless....I know, I know..his job is to shut down opposing players and not tackle or intercept a ball. Sean Smith is one of the worst corners I have ever seen. He has a ****ty attitude too and it shows in his play. He is like the defensive version of Brandon Marshall except 1/10th as talented.

I agree bell is overated. he is too slow. hasn't been good since like 2006 when saban was here. needs to get the axe!

Bell has always been bad in coverage, but he was the only guy tackling anybody today. Don't get me wrong he played a bad game, but the whole damn defense played a bad game. If people are overrating him that's on them. Most of us have always known what he is.

Bell is declining but he is far from the biggest problem with this defense. If the other players could man their positions, Bell would stop trying to plug all the holes. He played like crap today, but over all, he is solid.

Solid in run support is about it. The guy couldn't intercept a ball if he had a gun to his head and his life depended on one interception. We have a secondary FULL of one trick pony players and NONE of them have any instincts or ability to change the dynamic of a game, let alone take one over.

Bell's weakness is deep coverage. It's no secret. We should use him to his strengths. If he's alone covering Vincent Jackson deep then I believe there's a serious flaw with the defensive gameplan we came in with.

I said this several times before that Y.Bell is overrated and at least 2-3 season removed from being decent. His cover skills are terrible when was last time he made a tremendous play? Exactly!

Agrees, he's pretty much a very undersized LB IMO. can sniff out the run, but sooks in coverage.

It's comical watching the secondary. It's like Olivadoti v2.0.
