Does anybody know his future w/ our team.
He seems to have some talent, and made some huge special teams play for us, as well as 3 sacks. 3 sacks for a backup/special teamer saftey is pretty darn good.

Do you gusy think we should give him a more legit shot as a dime CB or even putting him at FS or SS intermittantly.

 He is a Safety.

no question that bell is a safety...he reminds me of a more athletic sean wooden, all wooden can do was tackle bell has shown some great awareness when hes on the field. i can see him starting next year

Yeremiah Bell is not doubt a very good safety. In my opinion, he'd make a damn good starter. Let's see what he does at Training Camp.

But question: Is he better as Free Safety or a Strong Safety?

I think he should be our starter next year.

He's seen time as a Dime CB before. He's also lined up in a semi-linebacker like position.

But his natural position is Safety, like I said.

At the risk of sounding stupid, anyone want to break down FS vs SS in terms of responsibilities and physical requirements for each?

Y. Bell is young enough to be our safety for the next 5 years or so..this guy has really played well since he's been here when not injured.

Bell played solid last year ..

His 1st relatively injury free year ...

He unfortunately is not 'special' ... but is definately good enough to keep around at a good price.
