Yes Man Gase has momentum growing in South Beach

Woot

Other teams fans are crying out for Gase... our negative fanbase bizzarely would turn their noses up at the brightest young candidate and prefer someone who has been run out of town already.... maybe we should interview Philbin and Cameron they seem qualified for some of you

Totally agree. Gase would be a great choice but let's overreact anyway.

We're afraid of getting Philbined again

John Harbaugh, McCarthy, Tomlin, Reid, Arians, Zimmer, Payton bloody hell first time coaches are always awful!

This guy has bust written all over him......I pray that I'm wrong.

Unfortunately I remember the last coordinators hat werely highly regarded, Cam Cameron and Joe Philbin.

Wonder who the next "hot" coordinator will be in 3 years. While Hue Jackson has a playoff team somewhere and we are sitting there why did we not go after Hue.

then get the right candidate, not the right stereotype of candidate. Adam Gase is not Joe Philbin

Hue Jackson to the 49ers will be a done deal.

Don't know enough about to say yay or nay. However, Cam Cameron was considered a bright OC too.
When I read that Gase doesn't have an agenda, I'm not sure what that even means. Is he a yes man as some have stated or is he a bright up and coming coach with the strong character and conviction to install a culture and system that can win consistently.

Easy finheaven. Lets not get too worked up over something we have so little knowledge about. If it's Mike Smith that's one thing. I know commodity who built soft teams that were carried by elite offensive personnel. It's extremely dumb to pigeon hole the guy because he's a coordinator. Tons of successful HC's are first timers, around the same age as Gase. He's not my first choice, but he's a good hire with upside.

This reinforces my point. Cam Cameron was a failure as a college HC. That should've been a red-flag right there. Experience or not he was a clear failure. Joe Philbin was a glorified event planner and janitor for the Packers. All signs point to Gase being an extremely bright, respected guy. And if you watch any of his interviews, or hear how Jay Cutler of all people felt about him, it's clear he has people skills that both those duds lacked. Not saying this hire is going to work out, but the guy deserves a chance. There is no comparison to Philbin or Cameron, only in previous title.

Booooooooo to Gase.. He blows. I don't respect coaches that think they coach great QB,s. That's like a noob Coach.

Gase is no Philbin. The comparison is ridiculous.

Wonder why Hue is available if he's so great.

Actually, when I read the positive comments about Gase, I'm reminded of a young Marc Trestman. That is not what this team needs to be aiming for.
