Booker and Chambers need to shut their prima donna overpaid arses up and go out and play football. You know I would love love love love love! to get Chambers the ball more, yet he only catches (and I think I'm being generous here) half the balls that are thrown to him. I get the feeling that Chambers because he went to 1 stinking Pro Bowl thinks by birthright now that all corners should be afraid of him, and that the ball should just magically appear in his hands. We can talk O-line till we are blue in the face, but I really think it's these two clowns that are costing us games.

Which brings me to my point. We need more Welker, and I mean he needs to be primary receiver on every down. Tasker even said it during the game about feeding the guy the ball, he's the only one making plays. That's comming from a completly neutral TV color guy, ex WR, the guy knows a little bit about what he's talking about. You know when I'm watching us on offense, the first thing I do is look to see if Welker is in the game, if not, then I usually know nothing is going to happen...you know 1 yard run, sack, or Booker will drop a potential bomb...it's as predictable as clockwork. Now when I see Wes is in the game, then I know we have just that much more of a chance. Then when you actually see Daunte looking his way, you already know it's a catch.

I know you all will flame me telling me Welker is a good solid #3, whatever...he's the only consistent thing about our offense, and he should be shown praise for it. When Booker went out against Pittsburgh, Welker stepped in and made some sweet grabs as #2, so don't tell me it's a question of his size or ability to get open because he's already proven that he can. Because everyone is so intent on getting Chambers the ball, we consequently squander probably 10 plays a game just doing that. That's 10 passes to Welker for 10 yds a pop....hmmm, that's 100yds. I know call me crazy, but I know I'm not the only one that thinks like this.

Welker is a guy who plays consistently with passion. He looks like he's playing to win. He looks like a guy who has to constantly prove his worth. Sometimes I feel we give CC a free pass because he'll make the amazing catch... i would rather a Jerry Rice type player.. who just makes plays..not spectacular.. but reliable.

Booker and McMichael have just been downright disappointing. I am astounded how many balls are dropped... year after year. and people want to talk about greatness.. and 'potential'.. well these guys have been in the league long enough that the time for that 'potential' is now.
And i dont want to see it for one week... If we win this week everyone will be talking about great everyone is again.. i want to see it every week... all season long... Just like Welker does... He shuts up and shows up every single week.. without fail.

Welker makes the catches because he falls in the gaps and the D isnt zoning in on him. what are you saying? make him the #1 guy??? come on now. Cpepp has a lot of weapons to throw to, so theyre not worried about little welker coming across the middle, thats why hes done so well. theyll catch on.

All of Culpeppers other "weapons" and I use that term very loosely, very loosely...aren't making plays consistently at all! Welker is the only one, and you have to admit, even those of you that are in bed with Chambers have to admit Welker is the only one out there making plays.

Why not nickel and dime a defense to death? Keep our questionable defense off the field? I really think we could do ball control if we would quit trying to throw long bombs down field. Or make sure that Chrissy and Martina get plenty of looks at the ball...that's just it look at the ball go in and out of their hands. Look for Welker, bam...1st down.

How are Chambers and Booker prima donnas? Chambers is about as easy going a wide receiver as I've seen and Booker never even gets in interviews. They work, they get open, they make the catch, and sometimes drop some passes but who doesn't?
As for Welker, he's great and we all love him and he's very fun to watch, but he doesn't have the natural ability of Marty or Chris. He gets open partly because of the matchup (he's covered by safeties, linebackers, or nickel backs) and because his routes are always short routes that he turns into big ones. The guy catches more 2-yard passes than anyone I can remember, and he constantly gets YAC, but the defense is always going to be more willing to give you the underneath passes than the long throws.

Also, I notice you're a Texas Tech fan. I wonder if that has anything to do with your disgust with the starters and your infatuation with Welker.

Did you notice when that happened in the Steelers game, they adjusted and Porter picked one off and ran it for a TD. Yea, good game plan. Pass to the slot reciever every play, like the D won't catch on. Take off your Wes Welker blinders.

We need to throw it to Chambers as much as we throw it to Welker. Then, we can make better assesments.

Oh it totally does. I watched the guy all four years in college, and was basically the bread and butter of the Tech offense. His senior year he was double covered by All-Americans who play in the NFL today, and he still got open.

Culpepper needs to throw the freaking ball to Chambers and McMichael. Culpepper is the problem because Chambers and McMike say they're open and there are plays to be made but Culpepper is slow at avoiding the rush and can't find them. Ronnie is also leaving alot of yards on the field. The thre times we tried that flea flicker should have each been a TD or 2 pt conversion but Ronnie makes the wrong decision. Also, Welker is not blocking on the line of scrimmage. He needs to freaking chip block the blitzer instead of jst looking out for himself. That first sack was due to Chambers missed blocking assignment. There's plenty of blame to go around. These veterans are acting like it's their first year in the league.

No he doesnt have the natural talent.. he just makes plays.. remember Wayne Crebet?

Too bad chambers isnt open... Cuz when I think of #1 receivers.. I think of Steve Smith.. practically the ONLY threat for Carolina.. and he always found ways to make plays.. Just be honest.. CC just isnt as good....and possibly.. maybe would maye a GREAT #2

I think that if Culpepper was the problem Chambers would have been pissed at him and not someone on the coaching staff.

Dude, Booker and Chambers drop balls all the time. You can't insuate a mancrush on Welker because of the Texas connection besides Welker shows up every week and makes plays unlike the aforementioned overpaid receivers we have.

Look on the brightside you may be able to land Calvin Johnon from Georgia Tech in the draft this year at the rate the Fins are going.

We need to be able to RUN the ball , Ronnie only got 44yards last week.
That's not getting the job done...
Culpper stinks, the offense line stinks.
Too many gadget plays that don 't work.....
I hate to say it , but we need Ricky ,so that we have a power running game.
If we don't change the way we are playing ( or not palying) its going too be a Long Long season.....
