Yes, We are the laughing stock of the league

Looks like the jest are getting poked more than us.. but I guess we all see what we're internally programmed to see, eh?

And some are programmed to not see what they don't want to see. Jets are being poked for their decision making. Dolphins are being poked for being "a mess", and unwanted. Which would you rather?

Darlington is a Dolphins fan soooooo I'm pretty sure he's upset about our situation as much as any of us on this board. He's just unbiased so he tries to call it as it is.

There is something else at play here. I don't ever remember Matt Millen, who was 10 times the trainwreck that Ireland could ever hope to be, getting shredded by the media, even when he was picking WRs in the top 5 every year. Or, what about Tannenbaum essentially pulling what Ireland is getting accused of by lying to Drew Stanton, but not a word is said about it? Or, the huge elephant in the room, the Saints GM completely aware that his defense had bounties out on players, and getting a suspension, but nothing said about that? How about Harbaugh's poor treatment of Alex Smith? No one has said anything about that, but Ireland is crucified because he failed to sign the guy while in Miami?

Has no one else noticed this? What is Ireland getting ripped to shreds for? A poorly phrased, but necessary, question to Dez Bryant, and some FAs choosing to go elsewhere? OK, so he is considered dishonest and untruthful, but don't these players deal with that daily with their agents, particularly the ones represented by Drew Rosenhaus? I'm not a conspiracy theorist by any definition of the word, but something isn't sitting right. I know you all are upset, but take a step back and look objectively. Where is the media backlash to these other teams? Why aren't we hearing all this crap about other GMs? AJ Smith is known as the least likeable guy in the NFL. Players can't stand this guy, period. Where are the torches and pitchforks for this guy?

There is an agenda here, I have no doubt about that. I just have no idea what that agenda is and why...

Good, let them laugh. He who laughs last, laughs best.
