We'll put him out there with Fasano and Clay....Philbin loves TE's

Ozzy rules!!

The Future of the Dolphins looking real bright!! Fins up

hard too get excited since the past few coaches did a poor job of using the TE's -- hopefully he can be a solid player, not like all the crappy TE's miami has had the past few years

Michael Egnew, 6'5, 252:
Egnew ran his 40 in 4.62, which was fairly impressive, but did so with a 1.57 10 yard split - the best of the TE group. He did 21 reps on bench and recorded a 36" vert. He ran the 3-cone in 7.03 and the short-shuttle in 4.32 and had a ridonkulous 10'11" broad jump. 33" arms and 9 3/4" hands. Egnew had 90 catches two seasons ago with Blaine Gabbert and as Mike Mayock put it on the broadcast, "you know he's never, ever put his hand in the dirt, so he'll have to catch everything." Similar to Green, he's the TE/WR hybrid type, and is NFLDraftScout's #6 ranked TE and projected to go in the fourth round.

Fasano, Egnew and Clay will be a nice TE and H-back package for us.

This guy is tough to bring down...he drags defenders. Love it.

Are you kidding? This is Philbin now. They know how to use TE's up in GB

Ozzy rules!!

also, we needed help in the red zone big time.....this guy can score TD's for us......a weapon for Tannehill........Ireland is slowly starting to win me over.

Ozzy rules!!

I like this pick. I don't know that there's any WR's that are truly worth a 3rd, so an offensive weapon at TE is a good choice. I also like our hometown DE choice before this and picking up another 6th round pick in the process was pretty good. While I'm sure we are going to take grief for not getting a replacement for Marshall, I think we are filling our major needs with some quality guys that will probably be starting fairly quickly.

We have clay and les brown...we need WRs more than we need TEs.

If I remember correctly Green Bay had 5 TE's on their roster last year. We need WRs but we needed a big hybrid TE as well. Hopefully Sanu or Toon or some other quality WR will still be there with our next pick.
