The players want joey in their right know, i can tell by their interviews that they believe in joey and he is the kind of vocal energetic leader they need right now,their dying to be lead and i'am tellin you joey is perfect for this situation and will perform beyond our expectations.

Just win baby! I can tell by their interviews that they are close! They keep saying they are close! I think this is the week because they are close. They need to work on the penalties the Holding and False Starts are killing us and if Will Allen takes one more PI in the endzone because he didnt turn around to look for the ball I will smash my TV. Having said that it definitely looks like a new team out their with Joey leading them for the first time I saw a motivated team fighting for a win. Joey will turn this thing around starting next week at the Jets!

I did actually have "hope" in the game this week...most of the season, it didn't seem like the guys were very well motivated. The Pats were laying the wood on them this week but they were still playing hard.

With ya Bro! There was questions before pre-season then when they called Harrington's number the first play he throws a laser TD to McMichael, and it was probably the most exciting play in the entire pre-season. BAM!! Hello!

I think Joe learned alot in Detroit about Team building and, it was too late with that sorry bunch. As soon as he got here, he wanted to be a good teammate 1st and then, work hard to learn the Playbook.

With a week of practice they will go out, and score some points in New York. There is also a history - Harrington was on a billboard once in Time Square and one of his best Lions games was a road win at the Giants.

Exciting game since the Jets are coming off a 40 point shutout - but we are just as motivated and I think Saban will put together a game plan for the Jets. I am thinking Joey could run an even faster, hurry up, no huddle Offense on a couple of series he has always been good at that - and it's tough to defend.

Its true 9 and 2 is totally possible with they way our season plays out, we also match up well with chicago and jacksonville.

if we beat the jets, it could signify a turnaround of sorts, however in handicapping circles, we are the team to bet against. Not because we haven't covered this season (true) , but this is the 3rd week in a row on the road. This does not happen often, but when it does, it spells trouble for the visiting team 75% of the time. And stop thinking about trades we could could have made with other teams: in order for a trade to happen another team has to want what we have.

I hate to rain on your parade but joey is gonna break your heart! just like he did to all those lion fans.I guess you never watched him play in motown huh? Joey is gonna run scared hes gonna throw interceptions and if hes sacked hell throw this game away!
