You Can't Beat The Refs Too!

It's the Pats, what do you expect? Either way we gotta take care of business and not use any of these excuses.

I usually rip on those who blame the refs.

Not today.

Today, I join their ranks.

I'm questioning the integrity of "the Shield" today.

Is the **** really fixed??? Why am I watching?

It's pitiful and a damn shame but it's America everything is corrupt and money based and it's the cheatriots it's ****ing bull**** idk if I can watch this **** again

Good teams find a way to win despite a bad call here and there. We're just not a good team. I wish it weren't so but that's what it really comes down to.

Please not many teams will win with those calls. We are not talking about PI that only gave them 5 yards or a holding on their own 30 yard line. It was a 3rd down in our territory. Not many "Good" teams will win with those calls. Ask the Packers about last year with the famous NO INT (which clearly it was one -.-). The Packers are an above great team. It is hard to win when critical mistakes are made. Ask the Broncos last year against the Ravens in the playoffs. Now I know it was not a ref mistake but that Safety made a critical mistake did the Broncos win?

I'm with ya, brother. My eyes were opened today.

NFL = NBA.

Dolphins got screwed by the refs no two ways about it, nfl Suxs!!!

It doesn't make it any better when Nance says that was a bad call, either.
I am so frustrated with the refs.
Beating a good team, like the pats, is hard enough.
These calls are crushing...

Some people will say blaming the refs is weak, but these calls do play a factor, no question.
Unless you are blowing out a team by 30 points, these calls definitely matter.

The funniest reply I've seen so far was that we didn't make enough plays to win the game, WE DID, the refs just happens to take all the critical ones away...

All last week the NFL shows has segment after segment dedicated to how the Pats got robbed in the Jets game with the call on the illegal push. How much time will these same shows spend on the Vernon illegal batting of the fumble........................NONE.

It's almost like the NFL is watching money fly away when NE loses, so they do what they can to minimize it. There were at least 3 mystery penalties called on Miami that led directly to points. NE didn't rally so much as get every break and chance. If you give a good team a bunch of extra chances what do you really expect to happen?

It's not just bad calls. It's the effect it had on the game. I can't imagine trying to stay focused knowing you're getting raped. So fuking hard to cope. These calls ruined everything. This was the Dolphins game. They made all the plays but the refs screwed them on the absolute critical 3rd downs/fumbles whatever.

I just can't remember the last time we got a PI on our favor, or a more than one holding call in one game. I'm still sore from the game the ref's gave to the Steelers with that Rapistburger fumble Misi recovered in the endzone but the ref had already whistled and the replay didn't keep going onto showing who had recovered cause the play was "over". I said nothing on the Ravens BS PI's but today it was just awful. It just seems like we get at least one very bad call against us every game but we never get a break.

I take solace in the fact that the Pats are going to get rocked by any competent teams this year. I hope Manning throws for 8 TDs on them. Eventually Brady will be gone and the Patriots will go back to having 15 fans.

While I agree the refs are always in the Pat's favor, blaming the refs is a loser mentality.

Well, then tell me, how do you beat a team, when the guys who's main job it is to make sure neither side has any advantages, continually calls penalties to just one side, and when that team continually needs it most, through an entire half?

I have no problems with Refs making mistakes, or making bad calls, but be consistent, they were far from that,

Example:
Pats have a Ball, Brady throws the pass to the receiver, both DB from Miami are playing the ball, and watching it coming in as they are going for the ball, the REFs call Interference on Miami.....Later one Miami has the ball, receiver goes out for the pass, Tannehill throws pass, DB never looks back, but starts waving arms up and down to distract receiver, Ref call no penalty

You can't win a game fairly like that... not when the guys that are there to make sure no players does anything illegal, have a one-sided agenda going themselves, and are the biggest offenders of things illegal.
