I never did hate Jay. As a matter of fact, I got nothing but respect for the man. He did what he could.

I agree. The guy had the heart of a warrior, he just didn't have a great deal of throwing ability.

actually i was given him props talken about him yesterday when he came on NFL Network. People were talken about how he doesn't look like a football player, but I said He's Nails. He was our McNair, only he was inconsistent and turnover prone. Still a decent starter... In His PriMe... Oh yeah and injury prone, and he had a noodle arm. Still a Warrior.

That's one block. & Yes I can hate him

Jay Fiedler is a good person. Certainly a very likeable guy. I am sure he did the very best he could with the ability that he had. He didn't have a great throwing arm and that was what hindered him. But to say you "hate" a person just because they weren't a great passer is going overboard. :shakeno:

There is a big difference between "hating" a player and not wanting them to be the QB of the team you root for.
I never hated David Woodley, Rick Graf, John Bosa, Lorenzo Hampton, Paul Lankford. I just wanted them replaced with better players.

I liked Jay.I hated A.J.

There is no legitimate reason to hate A.J.
Did he engineer the trade that brought him here? No
Did he sacrifice his body for the team? Absolutely (more than any player should have to)
Did the coaching staff (or lack of one) provide him with a decent O-line? No
Did the coaching staff surround him with good players? No
Did the coaching staff provide him with an offensive coordinator to help him develop? a resounding NO.
