Dolphins win in a rout. Won't even be close. We'll see JP Losman at first, then Kelly Holcomb. Dolphins won't let Willis McGahee get going. If Holcomb gets in, they could score a few points, but will likely take more sacks and possibilities are open for fumbles and picks and drive stalls at all the wrong times. On offense Ronnie will bowl over them and Chambers will have a nice day.
As fans I keep trying to tell people we don't need to get caught up in this "focus on the process" stuff because let's face it, whether we fans start looking ahead to Tampa Bay or not won't make a lick of difference on what we do in Buffalo. We're going to go up there and trounce a floundering franchise that is in severe distress. This isn't like the Jets game. I predicted we'd lose to the Jets but that was because of the extreme emotional high coming from a HUGE win against Denver that put us on the map and included a fumble return for a touchdown on the very last play of the day. Meanwhile the Jets, who have a lot of pride, got trounced pretty bad against KC partly due to something ridiculous like 8 fumbles. So the Jets were going to focus on the fundamentals and the Dolphins were not.
Yes, we come off a big win against Carolina, but we've had a bye week to digest it. The Bills are coming off a 3 game losing streak and really there is no end in sight to their losing because they have questions that they just are not going to find answers to any time soon...and now losing Takeo Spikes (the "pulse" of the defense, according to Troy Vincent) is just going to make things get crazier. The Jets, with Pennington there, were capable of making a one week turnaround and mustering some focus to come on and beat the Phins. The Bills are not capable of that.
If the Bills win this game, I will just have to stick my foot firmly in my mouth but I am pretty confident that the only thing I'll be eating come next Sunday are jerk chicken wings (don't eat buffalo wings the day we're playing buffalo lol)
