Okay no offense to any of my fellow fin fan brothers and sisters....but fact is, lots of you are being immature about this. I TOO am upset we didnt get Brady Quinn....but to say ur gonna ditch Miami, Fire Mueller, You Hate Cam...is ridiculous! This team NEEDS a QB, yes....but we also NEED some receivers, some SPEEDY receivers who can give Chambers/Booker room to run...along with a Kick Return Man and Punt Return Man. THATS what we got with Ted Ginn...now imagine if we draft another receiver in the 2nd like Sidney Rice...we are gonna be dangerous in a few years.

Here is my deal with Brady Quinn....it is now the 14th pick, and he has YET to go...look whos coming up...nobody needs Quinn. None of the teams are in desperate need of a QB...except the Chiefs maybe. If Brady Quinn falls to the Chiefs, i would IMAGINE that Mueller and Cam would try hard to trade up. We have two 2nd round picks...package one of those and Culpepper, and even Booker (if the Chiefs wanna be stuckup about it) and trade that to move up and snag Quinn. Then look...you get QUINN AND GINN! suddenly our offense looks a whole lot better, right?!

Now ill be upset if Mueller has no intention on moving up to get Quinn....but then again Kevin Kolb, Drew Stanton, Trent Edwards, and John Beck are great QBs also. So if we dont go for Quinn...guess what, we can still get a darn good QB in the 2nd round.

Come on guys, i too am upset about this but Cam and Mueller are amazing at this stuff...if they didnt draft Quinn, there's a REASON TO IT. a GOOD REASON. Mueller didnt move up to get Quinn before #9 because he KNEW Quinn would last...now imagine if Quinn drops to #24 or something...we move up and snag him....right there, all of u are gonna think Mueller is a God for getting Quinn and Ginn.

Have faith in our coaches and GMs. They know what theyre doing. Dont forget Ricky could be traded, Booker could be traded, and even Culpepper for all i know.

Was a very shocking decision man. But you have to expect this board having people who act like this. You're wasting your time even worrying about it.

We shouls grade this draft once it's over. Of course people will freak out right now. Let the people "quit" already so we can have real fans here.

The bottom line is obviously the Dolphins were never interested in Quinn or we would have taken him at #9.

I am dissappointed that we didn't get good value at the #9 spot. Ginn is NOT a top 15 pick and we obviously took him too high. There simply must not have been any teams that wanted to trade with us for #9.

I was surprised, but no one is clamoring for him now.

Hopefully, Cleveland trades up for him as was just discussed on ESPN and that pushes whatever QB they were going to take at the top of the 2nd to 40.

Maybe Trent Edwards or Kevin Kolb will be better than Quinn in the end.

WR is not a pressing need, and even if it was, a franchise qb is more important than a wr. Plus, ginn wasnt even good value nor the best wr on the board.

I was wondering myself if we can trade up and get Quinn as well. Its a long shot but what a steal if Mueller can pull that one off. He has pulled a rabbit out of the hat before a few yrs ago. Dont expect it but never say never.

but Ginn is the fastest which is something that was always a problem with Welker and Booker.

You could say that it will be much cheaper CAP wise to trade and get Quinn late 1st round. Quinn @ 9 CAP wise would cost more than Ginn Jr. @ 9 in terms of contract $$.

This is their first draft, so i'm not sure why we should have faith in these two like they're new england's FO or something. reminds me of myself in high school having blind faith and give-a-chance to the new guy attitude towards Dave Wannstedt:shakeno:

i haven't been a quinn fan, but even i will admit when he was there at nine i was even thinking as far as value quinn is probably the best value, i was shocked about ginn like everyone else because he could have been taken at pick 15 or later, but i am sure the dolphins were trying to trade back because they took so much time to make the pick. i honostly feel that there are more g.m.'s in the league than not that feel quinn is overated and there is only one frnachise qb in this draft and he was gone on pick one. i don't think there will be trade for quinn and the dolphins will take beck or edwards because there scouts feel they are about the same talent wise. because announcers for espn don't know sh-t about prospects and talent. so put down the gun, step back from the ledge, stop dialing 911 and lets see how this bad boy plays out....

imagine this, guys....a lot of players are dropping for some reason. Mel Kiper has Robert Meachem at like #10 on best players available now...imagine if Meachem falls to us at our first 2nd round pick...we draft Meachem, then with our other pick we draft a QB like Beck, Stanton, Kolb, Edwards. Suddenly our offense looks soooo much better. With that, we can trade Booker for an extra 4th rounder. then with our 3rd and 4ths, we select some big mauler offensive linemen. seriously i wouldnt be upset if we didnt choose any defensive players in this draft...our defense was #4th last year, and we got Joey Porter...how can it possibly get worse???

Have faith in Mueler, he has proven to pick QBs before, and the longer Quin stays on the board, the better shot we have at getting Beck with our late 2nd or even our 3rd

I just dont see how you pass up on a franchise QB for an undersized, unpolished, and unreliable WR.
