You HAVE to let Ronnie pound the Rock

Do people remember what it was like with Ricky here? I mean HONESTLY remember? We all remember the great runs, the quick cuts, the unbelievable plays, but REALLY think about when those happened.

Ricky was good because...
A. He had talent
and
B. HE GOT THE BALL

Ronnie is NOT a finesse back. He's a quick, hard hitting back that will WEAR DOWN THE DEFENSE. But he HAS to get the chance to wear them down! To this point, he's not gotten that chance!

Ricky ALWAYS started games off slow too. He just wore the D down, and REALLY showed up in the 2nd half. That's a liberty that ROnnie has not yet gotten. He hasn't had a chance to do what he NEEDS to do to be a very productive runner. Give him the ball, let him knock them around, and wear them down. THEN you'll see how good Ronnie really is.

Yeah, we are more of a passing team now. When we drafted Ronnie I think we were more of a runnig team. If we were going to be a pass happy team we should have used our 1st last year on a reciever or a QB

I agree. Ronnie is looking pretty good today, but he's not getting many chances. There needs to be balance on Offense. That's how you win games.

Apparently almost 4 yards a carry is ineffective. It's an absolutel joke. What is that stat I hear about with Ronnie? Saban is something like 9-0 when he gets more than 30 carries? And he only has 15 today, let him pound the rock and wear out the defense!
