You Just Might Be A Guskateer

True. As far as career turnovers and percentages, Gus leads the race.

Like I've said before, arguing who the best QB on this team is like arguing who's the smartest kid on the 'short bus'

Are you trying to say we're a couple fries short of a happy meal?

Its really in response to the argument that Gus has pocket presence that somehow is vastly superior to Feeley. You answered in your question what Gus shouldve done on that play to avoid the fumble - throw it away or tuck it and drop. Dont take this post so seriously. I found it amusing to write and thought some others on this site would also (mostly the AJ rat pack):)

I'm just so sick of QB threads, 10 out of 25 non sticky threads on the first page where about QBs when I checked 2 minutes ago.

yeah because feeleys played in a whopping, what 20 games in his nfl career? Not even...

I always appreciate creativity. The enthusiasm and determination of the Feeley supporters is very impressive. Similar to that of the Rick Spielman apologists. Sometimes wrong and strong carries the day. That's the way Bill Clinton correctly described the elections of 2002 and 2004.

The only vote in this case belongs to Nick Saban. He won't waste it on A.J. Feeley, the fuzzy math QB who deserves a stipend similar to a handicap horse race. Just give Feeley a bonus two yards after every pass attempt and I'll never complain. Maybe we can print some coupons off the internet.

????

WTF

What I said is true and I even went as far as including 'percentages' which takes out the slant of time on the field. It's a measure of right -vs- not right.

If any of the Guskateers had come up with something this funny about Feeley, I would be right there laughing with them. I don't have to agree in order to see the humor.
Great Post Adam!

If you have no sense of humor whatsoever... You just might be a Guskateer.

You completely lost me on the Bill Clinton line. But that does bring up memories of Monica Lewinsky and I'll quote someone else's line about our qb situation as I see it. -- If Feeley sucks, Gus swallows:D

Let's put this issue to rest and take a vote. Let's see a show of hands of fans who believe they have conclusive evidence that ANY QB on this team deserves to be the diamond of our franchise.

Face it, all we have are two scrubs who may or may not become something special but, as it stands now, neither are the long term answer.

With a show of hands how many teams can say they have a QB who is the "diamond of their franchise". They don't have to be diamonds for one to have more value to this team than the other. Whichever side of the debate you stand on.

I also want to clarify that I consider QB's like Marino, McNabb, Vick, or Peyton to be diamonds. Guys like Trent Green or Chad Pennington, while decent, don't qualify for that designation. IMO.

How many teams can say that, one preseason game remaining before the season's start, have NO CLUE who is the less worse of their QBs

If you didn't get the spirit of the post, you need to stand back and let logic (for a moment) override emotion

Just make Feeley the starter already. Let it rip. Let it fly. I dont care anymore.
