You knew it was coming...the OFFICIAL "trade for Chris Brown" thread

we do need a RB and brown would probably become the 2nd or 3rd automatically. morris to me still deserves the number 2 spot. as much as people think we need a RB after rickys last weed binge, i think that we are still okay at running back. brown is solid and if he misses games im confident morris can handle the load.

no way the guy is a very good runner but we have ronnie and he wouldnt want to come here b/c he would be 2nd to ronnie and he wants to be #1.

he is an alright runner, too losse with his ball handling i think, only hada few good games, still think morris is better than he is

we have sammy guys we dont need another running back.we are fine

morris will be a good second stringer, and i think kay jay could be really good. but if we could get the guy cheap it doesnt make sense not to

Morris is a very capable backup and, the Bucs cut Andre Hall (USF RB) today. I think this kid could really be a nice backup or 3rd Back on someone's roster.

I'm probably the only one but it wouldn't be bad to have him around for one year because he only has one year left on his contract and he could help ronnie as a secondary rb as long as we don't give up much for him and he doesn't do 50/50 with ronnie maybe 75/25.I wouldn't mind not having him either

I just dont understand the homer-ness everyone has with Sammy Morris. The guy is ok for like 5 carries a game. He had all of 16 carries last year with a long of 9 yds. (and before you jump in and scream 'well we had ricky AND ronnie last year' there were 6 games with only 1 of those guys)

Let's roll out the red carpet and hand him the 2nd string position!!

oh yeh, Sammy Morris is a bum. Travis Minor isn't even very impressive on special teams. KayJay is old but has 'big time' potential and Gerald Riggs, I know nothing about so I wont knock him.

Chris Brown hasn't proved he deserves to be a #1 and if (next year)Ricky proves he can still move then Brown could be trade bait or the same for Ricky

I don't know man, he'd cost AT LEAST a first rounder.

I dunno that he would cost a 1st rounder for 3 reasons:

1) he's never been healthy through a whole season
2) he's a fumbler (10 in the last 2 seasons/ 7 lost)
3) may have had a break out year (in only 11 games) in 2004 but followed up with a subpar year in '05 only averaging 56.7 ypg and 3.8 ypc

not 1st round pick worthy
