:shakeno: Seriously guys

I know I was one of the people that criticized Daunte yesterday, but it wasn't his fault:fire: The o-line gave up 5 sacks in the fiest Quarter, give him another game

did the offensive line force the ball out of his tiny little fingers? Did the offensive line make him stand around all day looking for someone to be completely wide open enough for him to throw it?

Correction........It wasn't ALL Daunte. Yes the OL played like they should be out of a job today, however Daunte looked terrible from the first snap of the ball, and that interception......oh man.

This ain't right, maybe we should bench ronnie, CC, Randy, Zach and JT, cause they ain't like they were last year please................................Have Patience!!!

How many fumbles did we lose exactly?

If he didnt have the bills pass rush all over his ***, the ball probably doesnt slip out.

:rolleyes2

i see no point in arguing about the fumbles. 1 cuz both were clearly dauntes fault. 2 daunte has always had a fumbling problem.

on top of that they played no part in this loss.

what is dauntes problem and needs to be fixed is to find the open recievers down the field. on his interception before half the wr at top was open and daunte never looked his way. he is not seeing the field at all.

Its funny how before the game you guys were making jokes about how stupid Berman was for picking us and how your OLine was gonna kill are dline and we were gonna get killed because we started 5 rookies and yet the exact opposite happened

I have to opinion differently, It was PARTLY his fault. Saban said it himself, part of the blame went to Coaching staff, O-line for not blocking, and sometimes the QB holding on to the ball too long.

The only thing I can think of is 2 things:

either Daunte is still scared to get hit on his knee, or he is still hanging on to the ball too long

they ended up in huge losses.

Actually yes..The defenders that come THROUGHT THE O-LINE force Daunte to make unwanted decisions in so lil time

my 2 cents...

#1 problem is the OL AND the blocking of the skill players.
I agree with those who said...
try DMac at LT again,
Jacox deserves to start,
Trying Jacox at C after a couple of weeks practicing snapping w/Daunte w/Hadnot back at RG. (Sidenote: James is not worth his salary, but they don't have anyone else.)

I agree w/having chemistry on the OL, but with the way they're playing right now - chemistry-schmemistry - they need to change it up. Jacox' last minute insert proved that.

Tho' not the #1 reason, I also say that both Mularkey and Duante are also 'part' of the problem.

Mularkey's playcalling is fine, BUT it does not fit the abilities of his personnel AND the plays do not counter what the other team is trying to do. It's not the actual plays, but the thinking behind them.

Culpepper will get better, sure. BUT, you have to question his abilities given 1) he can't scramble the way he used to, a major part of his game, and 2) the state of the OL. Even if Duante is the long term answer, you have to wonder if Joey would have more success given the circumstances "right now".
