The man has not started a game in the NFL. Any hard feelings you have for him are obviously not backed by any evidence of NFL playing time, or your team just got a whoopin from him in college and you think you can still bash him even though he hasn't been a Wolverine for 2 seasons.
When a start like this seems unexpected-
We went 1-15 two seasons ago. We are still very much in a rebuilding stage. It just so happens that last year we had a bunch of over achievers. Parcells installed a plan and you better believe that his plan is no where near finished for this team.
When the trade for Tyler Thigpen brings about an uproar-
What, were we going to go the rest of the season without a 3rd quarterback? Henne is going to start the rest of the season. Thigpen is going to have time to learn this offense. Do you know what that means? A little healthy competition in training camp in summer 2010.
When people think we should just cut our starters-
This defense is showing its age and youth at the same time. Porter and Taylor are non existent in the pass rushing and this team is making young mistakes like blowing coverages and trying to tackle high.
Stop bitching and moaning and support this team. We will have our time sometime, just not this season.
