Steve Young had some really nice things to say about the dolphins a couple minutes ago when him and micheal irving brought there playbooks over to the coach ditka he asked who should have been in the playoffs this year irving said falcons and Young said the dolphins said that were a very good football team if we could find a quarterback even if we dont we will be in the playoffs next year...THANKS STEVER FOR MAKIN ME SMILE:D
 
not a big deal but the question was who will be in the playoffs next year, that is not in the playoffs this year.

surprised that the chargers were not mentioned
 
Falcons... not so sure they have a lot of issues warrick dunn is not getting any younger
 
We should be in the playoffs. I think we will be next year and I also think we will be serious superbowl contenders.

Actually Ditka did mention them. He said they could win it all next year, if they can hold fourth quarter leads.

As for us being in the playoffs, I think the fact that Nick is already bringin' in people, givin' them tryouts and such is good news. Even if it's just to fill training camp spots. A lot on how we do this coming season will depend on what we do in free agency and the draft.

Most every team is bringing people in this time of year and signing them to futures contracts. Saban is doing nothing more than practically every coach, including Wannstadt, would do.
 
Ya its good to hear those things and I think we will be in the playoffs next year but were a long way away and anything can happen!
 
i mean i think saban might need a couple days off this winter but hey if he wants to work 365 days a year to make us better i really cant complain

I dont think they couldnt compete in the playoffs this year, but with a good qb everything could change.
 
Qb is the catalist of it all. We have to find one.

They are better than the Jags. Jax had a ridiculously easy schedule and went 12-4. The Phins could have done the same thing with that schedule.
I live in Orlando and watch the Jaguars. Leftwich appears to be a bit over rated. Taylor isn't the monster he once was and Jimmy Smith is on the downside.
Defensively the Jags have a good D-line.
On the whole, I think the Phins are a better team.
 
Just think, all we had to do was beat new England and we were in. We were a play or two off from the playoffs. We should have beat Buffalo. We should have beat Atlanta. We were a team that could have been 11-5 or 12-4 IMO.
