Andy Kent of MiamiDolphins.com writes that "If there is one area on either side of the ball that does not have any holes it's the secondary. What that means for guys like Shirdonya Mitchell and David Lofton is that their motivation truly is going to have to come from within."

Hey Andy, no holes? what games were you watching last season with all those long conversions conceded? Our secondary is probably our weakest point. I believe it's weaker than the OL, but the OL doesn't have another area to mask their weaknesses like the DL and LBs do with the DBs.

Anyway, I hope some of these young guys show something so we don't have to stop breathing every time our nickel and dime DBs are on the field.

No holes? Behind the OL that was our area with the biggest holes? D*** crappy journalists learn what you are talking about!

i didn't read the article, but he might have meant holes as in "wide open positions" - and that will allen is entrenched at one corner, andre goodman (when healthy) will man the other - with travis daniels and jason allen (hopefully) challenging, and yeremiah bell and renaldo hill holding down the safeties. benching one of those guys would be a mild upset for a rookie/young player on the roster.

If we can get Goodman back firing on all cylinders the DB unit got a whole lot better, without him and without INTS the DB position isnt the best.
