I know we are all getting ahead of ourselves, but lets say we finish with #1 pick in the draft (if you hate ppl talkin about this then just close the box and dont comment) would you pick Reggie Bush and get a QB in round 2 or later.

Or do you think we should take Leinart with the pick?? I think Reggie Bush will one of the most sought after players in history IMO........the guy can do it all, but then again RB/WR isnt our priority and QB is.

So do you think we would HAVE to get Leinart just cause we "NEED" a QB, or would you want to get someone like Stanton, Jacobs, Culter maybe even Quinn in round 2 or higher?? Tell me what you think.

Of course we'd take Leinart. We spent a top first-round pick on a RB last year. Do people seriously think we'd consider drafting Reggie Bush? Maybe we'd trade down if somebody offered a boatload of picks, but otherwise we'd definitely take Leinart.

IMO Bush wont be a RB in the NFL, he'll be WR, and we dont have the fastest recievers in the world lol and Bush has amazing speed, so he could be an awesome reciever

More to the point, James Jett in his day and Gilmore today could easily outrun the likes of Jerry Rice or Marvin Harrison. Who do you want?

If Bush (who will be a RB in this league) is so highly sought by teams, the no-brainer answer is that you trade down and take the best player available at the picks you get in return for trading down. If that's Leinart, fine. If it's Ferguson, Hawk, or whoever else, you take that player.

Every person on the board who has seen these threads clogging up our boards. The same threads do not need to be discussed a thousand times over and over again.

This is correct. Of course we aren't taking Bush if he's there.

Leinart, or if Quinn comes out you trade down a few spots (like 4 or 5) and take the one that's left.
