Taking a break from playoff talk and other issues, I thought it be awesome to talk about how YOU WOULD build your all star offense and defense using past or present Dolphin players.

Here is mine!

QB Dan Marino

RB Ricky Williams

FB Larry Csonka

WR Paul Warfield

WR Mark Duper

WR Mike Wallace(Yes I said Mike Wallace. Dan Marino and Mike Wallace would be killer!)

TE: Randy McMichael (Not a lot of great Tight ends in Miami's History.)

LT Richmond Webb

LG: Bob Kuechenberg

C: Dwight Stevenson

RG: Larry Little

RT: Norm Evans

Defense

CB: Patrick Surtain

CB Sam Madison

RDE Jason Taylor

DT: Tim Bowens

DT: Norm Evans

NT(if we ran the 3-4) Manny Fernandez

LDE Cameron Wake

Weakside LB : Nick Buonoconti

Middle LB : Zach Thomas

Strongside LB: Karlos Dansby

SS: Dick Anderson

FS: Jake Scott

This is my opinion on my All Start miami Dolphins Team.

Jake Scott was a 5 time All-Pro and the MVP of Super Bowl 7.

He is the Miami Dolphins' all time all-star Free Safety.

Give me Ferrell Edmunds or Jim Jensen at TE. And I'd fit Bryan Cox into the linebacking core. Need some of his nastiness.

I agree with most, except for a few changes:

QB Dan Marino

RB Ricky Williams

FB Larry Csonka

WR Paul Warfield

WR Mark Clayton (Way to good, and scored too many TDs with Dan to keep off)

WR Mark Duper (You need speed, so either Duper or Wallace, I pick Duper, because unlike Duper, Wallace needs a perfect ball to catch.)

TE: Jim Jensen (Jenson was one of the best 1st down receivers we ever had, could block, and if needed, could throw a good pass).

LT Richmond Webb

LG: Bob Kuechenberg

C: Dwight Stevenson

RG: Larry Little

RT: Norm Evans

Defense

CB: Patrick Surtain

CB Sam Madison

RDE Jason Taylor

DT: Tim Bowens

DT: Norm Evans

NT(if we ran the 3-4) Manny Fernandez

LDE Cameron Wake

Weakside LB : Nick Buonoconti

Middle LB : Zach Thomas

Strongside LB:John Offerdahl (Dansby is fine, and maybe using three M-LB/I-LB on same squad might be putting players out of position, but they are all exceptional players, that could all play outside as well as inside, and could make for a special unit)

SS: Dick Anderson

FS: Jake Scott

DB: Travis Daniels and Jason Allen
LB: Trusnik/ Aj Edds/ Wheeler
Dline: Merling/ Dion Jordan
K: Carp
P: Roby

QB: Pat White, John Beck, Dante Culpepper
RB: Kareem Abdul Jabar, Lamar Smith, Sammie Smith
FB: Rob Konrad, Heath Evans
WR: Hartline, David Boston, Chris Carter, Marty Booker, Chris Hogan
Oline: Dallas Thomas/ the dude that cut himself/McKinney/ Jonathan Martin/ Clabo
TE: Egnew, Jed Weaver

Norm Evans was not a D tackle OP. Substitute Tim Bowen or Baumhawer (NT)

I'd take Keith Jackson as the TE but Jenson was good as well.

I'd also take Wahoo McDaniels over Dansby. He was a favorite in my youth.

Some guys that, so far, have been left off the list:

WR Irving Fryar
LB A.J. Duhe
CB Troy Vincent

WR Irving Fryar

After the Mark's Bros, Fryar quickly became my next favorite WR growing up. Etched in my memory was his 4th down TD vs the Patsies in Marino's comeback game after his achilles injury.

Here is mine!

QB Dan Marino

RB Ricky Williams / TONY NATHAN (3rd down back)

FB Larry Csonka

WR Paul Warfield / IRVING FRYAR

WR Mark Duper / NAT MOORE

WR MARK CLAYTON

TE: KEITH JACKSON

LT Richmond Webb

LG: Bob Kuechenberg

C: Dwight Stevenson / JIM LANGER (BOTH GREAT)

RG: Larry Little

RT: Norm Evans

Defense

CB: Patrick Surtain/ TROY VINCENT

CB Sam Madison

RDE Jason Taylor / BOB BAUMHAUER

DT: Tim Bowens

DT: MANY FERNANDEZ

LDE Cameron Wake / KIM BOKAMPER

Weakside LB : Nick Buonoconti / A,J, DUHE

I COULD NOT HELP ADDING A LITTLE DEPTH, ALSO WE HAVE HAD SOME PRETTY AMAZING LINEBAKERS THOUGH THE AGES!!!

Take Mare or Stoyanovich over Carpenter any day of the week.

Dansby? Joey Porter or Brian Cox over Dansby. Dansby was crap while he was here.
