Your favorite/most anticipated change for '05.

yeah whats up with the whole patrick ramsey thing??? wishful thinking for your fantasy team starter?????
 
SCOTT LINEHAN. This is the 1st guy we've had in a while that knows good offense. How many games have we lost in the past 5 years and beyond where we're the most predictable crappy offense and dont' fool anyone? Also, the D. Looks like we're gonna have a hell of a D-Line or at least Pass rush with the players and the 3-4 blitzcrieg-bop we're doing. WOnder how many teams will be able to over come that. Wer'e gonna win 10 games
 
Without a doubt, most looking forward to Finheaven being a fun, optimistic place for Fin fans to hang out again. Last year was one big whine-fest. The mood around here right now is 1000X better than last year.

I hope it stays that way. :)

BINGO! that right there sums it all up. our philosophy is completely opposite this year opposed to recent years. im just excited to watch a team good or bad that is going to be a little creative instead of feeling like im watching a little league coached team.

Ok, now to my question/comment.

What's your favorite change or most anticipated difference for '05?

- Is it a particular player/position, like Ronnie Brown?
- The changes on D? If so, which one (there's A LOT different this year).
- Is it Saban at head coach?
- Is it the new OC?
- Is it the new offensive line changes?
- Is it the QB position/battle/whatever?
- Boston coming back and maybe having a 1000 yard season again?
- Is it a particular rookie like Roth at DE or Channing at LB?
- Or maybe simply seeing the team wake up out of the hellish vanilla nightmare it's been in for the last 4-5 years.

Here's my vote: the new D. I am so geeked up for seeing what this defense, with its mix of young and veteran players along with Saban's coaching and the mixing it up from 4-3 to 3-4 and whatnot - man, I'm so anxious to see how they do. Mostly, I'm looking forward to seeing more of probably my favorite thing on defense... BLITZING! (And SACKS!)

I love watching the opposing QB go down!!! And I think we may very well see the 'Fins break a club record in sacks this year (put me down for that). Yes, I know blitzing is high risk. But it's sure damn exciting! And it beats the hell out of waiting to see what the offense is going to do and having that dictate what your defense does.

But SABAN's here now, so no more of that crap! Now (finally) the D sets the tone, dammit!

What I'm most excited about is innovative coaching on both sides of the ball. Different looks on both offense and defense from week to week. Oh and we got Ronnie Brown too. I keep forgetting that. :D

I second that... it was depressing last year...

I reached breakdown point when we lost to the Cards... i think that was the lowest of the low.

yes... im very excited to see how our O-line does... but also the whole offense as a whole... cant wait to see us stretch the field, big yardage plays... so much excitement... really im just excited about everything, NOTHING will be the same as last year, NOTHING! its kinda crazy, our d will be different scheme wise and personel wise hardcore, our o and oline will look like something totally different than last year...

i mean its crazy all the changes that this year will bring, im VERY VERY excited...
 
This whole offseason excites me. There's only nine days until Training Camp

Yep. I wanna see how far our OL has come after last seasons poor performance. I have a ton of things to watch for this season.
1. OL
2. Feeley
3. Ronnie Brown
4. New Defense (Roth and how our new DT's perform and also our LB's.)
5. Our new HC and coaching assistants.
 
The exciting thing is there's so much change in the air. To narrow it down is difficult, but seeing radically different approaches on both sides of the ball will be exciting and fun to watch.
