I really like Raekwon Davis. Think he has a breakout season this year.
Though I am on the side of X needs to stay if at all possible...My backup Igbinoghene is going to shock quite a few people, whether X stays or ends up leaving.I really like Raekwon Davis. Think he has a breakout season this year.
I agree calling RD a non starter is not really accurate. The mainstays of the D-line rotation are really all "starters", regardless if they play the opening play.Calling him a non-starter might be a stretch as he literally played 99% of our offensive snaps last year, but Jesse Davis.
Having a guy that plays 4 positions at a decent level is unheard of.
re-read his quote...he's talking about JESSIE Davis...I agree calling RD a non starter is not really accurate. The mainstays of the D-line rotation are really all "starters", regardless if they play the opening play.
To say he "litterally" played 99% of the snaps is also not accurate though.
His snap count steadily increased throughout the year, and in tge final quarter of the season, he was playing 70+%. Thats a lot of snaps for an interior guy to be kept "fresh" IMO.

I make mistakes... many of them.Ah......
Yes, I mistook it as a response to the OP, with a second comment about Davis.......my bad.
I should have known @Feverdream wouldn't make a mistake like saying RD played 99%.
