in sure all of you guy have some favorite plays or big moments.
mine are ofcoures when he picked mcnair off and did the flip into the endzone and against denver couple of years ago zach made two huge hits on 3rd and 4th down.

When he picked off Steve McNair and returned it for a TD and did that flip into the endzone. I think it was Steve, i remember the game was against the Titans and it may have been a Sunday Night game.

I like that one hit he had on Coles and gave him a minor concussion, in that rainy game.

Yeah, that was the one I came into the thread to post. Never forget it.

:(

The goal line stand against Atlanta and the hit he put on Lavernius Coles on Christmas!
wow i forgot about that atlanta game and i remeber that win put us in the playoffs that year ...man i miss the good ole days

Meeting Jerome Bettis in the hole and knocking him on his ***. That was when Bettis was in his prime with the Steelers and was on every Dolphin highlight for the next couple of years.

yup, that was the one that I thought of right away.

when he got released...

...

I kid.

I'm only 17, so I didnt really start to REALLY follow football until about 3 years ago, so I didnt have the pleasure of seeing Zach as long as some of you have.

If I were to say anything about the guy, I just have to say that he was always a presence on the field, always around the play, and always making runningbacks fear him. He will be missed, but at the same time, it is time to move on and look to a bigger and brighter future.

Go Dolphins!!

If you just start following football you should research the team you choose to follow. If you had done that then you would see Zach is no kidding matter. He has been our heart and pride for 12 years and against all odds. A too short undersized 5th round pick that went on to have more tackles than anyone in the hof and a franchise record 7 PB's and 100 team records including most games by a defensive player. Research at least before posting on a subject like this.

Sept, 9 2001. Opening night. Sunday night game at Tennessee. I pick up a primo seat on Ebay for $175 and fly down there. Wearing my Zach jersey Im under serious heat throughout the game, mostly by two clowns behind me screaming about get a running back, even though Eddie George is nothing at this point, and Lamar Smith had ran for 200 on 40 carries in the playoffs last year vs. Indy. I was in danger of taking an *** kicking right after Smith took that screen pass for a huge score and the phins went up big in the 3rd qtr.

I had to flee the scene shortly after Zach rips off a pass for a score and does a flip into the end zone that sealed a throttling of the Titans on national tv. It was great. I said my peace and made my way to another part of the emptying out stadium to watch the last 5 minutes. Beautiful.

P.S I had the Phins and the over and cleaned up. That Zach TD finished off the OVER and it pretty much paid for my whole trip down there. Then I was lucky enough to get my *** home on that plane the next day, Sept 10 2001.

Yup, that's my favorite on-field moment. It was a sunday night game two days prior to 9/11. My favorite off-field moment was meeting him at the NFL Experience last year. I got his autograph twice!

When he smacked Shawn Jefferson.

That may of been one of the most devastating hits in the history of the NFL.
That was his 1st regular season game and he sent a message that would be echoed in Miami for years to come. I remember hearing thatthey had to remove Jefferson's face mask to get his helmet off and when they did that he was asking for his HS football coach. Oh, those sweet memories:D
