So with the draft over and camps about to start we all get a gut feeling about something about the season.

So what is yours?

Is it that Ricky will start by week 8.....does Pennington make it through the season...is it even with our harder schedule we still get 9+ wins...

these aren't predictions just your gut feelings about this season

MINE
Vontae Davis will be a #1 by mid season...with camps and preseason and all the pass happy teams at the front end of our schedule he will use his freakish athletic ability to become a #1 sooner then later

With the addition of Pat White, Ronnie Brown one year removed from a serious injury and health along the offensive line, Miami will be among the NFL leaders in rushing yards.

I think we get our first post season victory under Sparano:up:

i predict that this will be the funnest team in the league, to watch. I predict ronnie brown to have a breakout, i mean another breakout season. pat white will create a monster out of the wildcat. miami will make the playoffs as division champs. ted ginn will lead the team in yards

I think we will finish 9-7 or so, and still win the division in a tight race. Vontae Davis has a solid rookie season, solidifying our secondary. Oh yeah, the Pat White experement works.

I think the team as a whole becomes better than last year but with the very difficult schedule our record will be either 8-8 or 9-7 with no playoffs this season...this will give Chad P more bench time than last season and allow Chad H more playing time so the front office will be able to evaluate Henne under game time conditions

I am too superstious to tell my gut feeling and jinx our season.

i dont know how we are gonna do, but im very excited about next season. we got a lot of new players who i feel good about.

and we should definately be able to run the ball next year. it really hurt to watch the wildcat 3 downs in a row for a total of approximately 2 rushing yards.

the team has done alot of work to all of our biggest weaknesses lat year. offensive line, line backers, defensive secondary and receivers.

im pumped. i actually want to go and watch some practices and pre season games. i cant wait for the season to start.

my gut feeling is that by the end of the year Vontae is our #1 and Sean Smith could be our 2 if he is not playing Safety. I also feel that Wake IS THE REAL DEAL

i think we could make it to the superbowl...last year they got rid of so many guys and added new ones(i think like 26?). Theyve had a year and this offseason to work together. We got some new guys that have alot of potential. I only see us getting better.

we will go 10-6, grabbing a wildcard or just barely missing the playoffs.

Chad Pennington will have more touchdowns then he had last year...but he will also have more picks than last year. That being said, he will be sacked less. He will not be resigned but will get offers almost immediately after he leaves the team.

Our running game will improve, Ronnie Brown will have close to 1,200 yards rushing and almost 1,700 all purpose yards along with double digit touchdowns. Unfortanely Ricky Willians will start to show his age and struggle.

Ted Ginn will continue his steady improvement, but not nearly at a pro bowl level, or enough to warrent the 9th overall spot in that years draft. Still, he will be to valuable to trade or cut. Greg Cam and Bess will have solid years. The wideouts of the dolphins will have more touchdowns than last year.

Our Defense will struggle. Porter will have a solid year with around 11 sacks. Wake will struggle but will finish out the year strong during its final games, will end with 4-6 sacks. Safety play will be a bright spot with Y.Bell leading the team in tackles again. Sadly, Jason Ferggy will struggle to keep up during the season, likely leading to his consideration for retirement.

Despite our front 7 troubles, our corners will have decent year. Will Allen will have a pick or two, but will lead the team in pass deflections. Vontae will start out slow, but like DRC last year will turn it on as the season goes on, being second on the team in pass deflections and 2 picks. Jason Allen will be forgotten and not resigned. Eric Green will have a decent yet unspectacular season.

Bill Parcells will leave after the year is over.

All in all, our defense will struggle and our offensive should improve.

I am not going to say a record, but I think it will be similar to last year in that we may start a little slow and then finish strong again.

I really think this will be a better, more prepared team this year, and even though this will be a much tougher schedule this year, we really don't know who will be the teams that will overachieve/underachieve this year. Between I think Miami can win 9-10 games this year, and win the east again, because I am not so sure Brady is going to be 100% for at least the 1st 1/3 of the season.

I think it's going to a fight every game and I'm afraid we're really gonna wish we improved our pass rush more.

I believe we will be a considerably more physical team. That should translate into a 10 or 11 win season versus our more difficult schedule. Basically, I think this team improved significantly.
