Of all Fins moments i can think of in my life, one that always sticks is the best.

I was like 10 at a dolphin dinner thing with the players and personally got chosen by dan marino out of like 15 other kids while he was eating to get something signed. It was an authentic helmet which is framed and in my father trophy room. To me it was most memorable...

i was wondering if anyone else has had a fond memory which involved the fins...

85 Win on Monday night against the Bears. Chargers playoff game and the Hook and Ladder. The Nat Moore whirly bird in the Meadowlands. Fake Spike game. Louis Oliver 100 Yd Interception return for a TD against Jim Kelly. Returning the opening kickoff of the Superbowl for a touchdown against the Redskins. and many many many many more!

Many proud moments....most recently our great comeback to beat the Barfalo Bills on a great catch by CC at the end of the game.

Exactly the moments I had in mind. I call that hook and lateral play from the Chargers game the "hall of fame play". Another great moment for me was the playoff win over the Jets when AJ Duhe had a monster day. I can still see him picking off that last pass for a touchdown, and hear Dick Enburg's patented "ooohhh mmyyyy!", followed by "what a day for Duhe!" Fun stuff.

Back in 1983......

I drew the Miami Dolphins from a playoffs pot a neighborhood kid had going...

...the rest is history! :D

when me n my dad were watchin the miami new england game in 04 when i said to my dad it doesnt look like miami is gonna win but they gave them a good shot and he agreed and than aj feely hooks up with derius thompson to win the game by 1 (damn that was great) it was when we were wearing the orange jerseys. (good times).

The Dolphins-Charger game that was held in Arizona. It was the only Dolphins game I ever saw in person. For a brief moment and 3 TD's later, it seemed Griese could've been the guy to send Jay Fiedler back to the bench where he belongs. Of course, Wanny wouldn't have it and Griese helped secure wins in Tampa and now possibly Chicago.

the comeback win over the Pats in 04. that is by far my favorite game ever.

Those are some wonderful moments! I am too young to remember the '72 and '73 seasons. But I remember all that you recounted above. The Fake Spike game was pure beauty. The Jets playoff game in '82 was awesome when A.J Duhe made his awesome int. Lou Oliver's return vs. Kelly in '92 was sweet. I think we beat the Bills by 17 or 20 points if I recall in Buffalo. The Bills game this past year was awesome. No better game to come back then against the Bills. CC's last TD catch was priceless.

The win vs. Pitt in AFC championship game to go to Superbowl XIX in Jan 85. The Chargers playoff game; eventhough it was a loss it was great that the Dolphins were part of one of the greatest games of all time. The 21-20 win vs Atlanta in 2001. I was at the game with a Falcon fan friend of mine so it was especially sweet. Also, winning a $400 bet with a jerk Falcon fan and former acquaintence in '95 when Dan made a last second TD pass to Mc Duffie (if I recall correctly) to beat them. Lamar Smith's one man demolition job vs. the Dolts in 2000 playoffs. Its too darn hard to list just one. Too many memories to list but those are some of the ones that come to mind....

Wow, sounds as if you and I were in our prime watching the Dolphins around the same time frame.

I think my fondest moment was the Monday night game against the Raiders. Miami down 21-0 when Marino came in to the game for the inept David Woodley with a little more than 7 minutes left in the game.

Even though Miami lost 24-21, that one game right there started an era in Miami the likes I don't think we'll ever see again.

1996

Dolphins 23, Oilers 20
Astrodome, Houston, Texas

This is my favorite Dolphin moment of all-time because it was the first, and subsequently only, Dolphins game I've ever attended. Two things stand out from that day:

1. There was a sign posted across the Astrodome for us that said, "Gotta Respect 'Da Izzo." My brother was two years behind Larry in high school and had been his tackling dummy. We lived a few houses down from him growing up, so it was cool to not only see him in the NFL, but also in a Dolphin uniform. I love the chapter in Shark Among Dolphins where it describes Jimmy Johnson telling Izzo he had made the team.

2. Joe Nedney nailing the game-winning field goal. Awesome ending to my first Dolphin game.

dont remember the year but we played denver and shannon sharpe was talking smack about elway being the better QB and danny threw 3 tds to lamar thomas and we beat up on them pretty good
